Who owns X-Energy, Inc.

One company in the researched set discloses a stake in X-Energy, Inc., worth $1.21bn between them. X-Energy, Inc. is listed, trading as XE on the NASDAQ, and this site covers it as a public company. It has no ownership register here yet for one reason only: a register is built from a single quarter of Form 13F data, and this company listed after that quarter closed, so no manager had reported it. The register appears once they do. It is deliberately not given a predecessor's register in the meantime, which would credit it with holdings nobody reported.

This page is in a transition phase and is due to change within the next six months. X-Energy, Inc. listed on the NASDAQ as XE in April 2026, so it is a public company rather than a private one. It is kept here, rather than moved to a public company page, because this page currently holds more about it: the disclosed stakes below come from the holders' own filings, and a new company page would carry little more than a name and a ticker. Once managers first report it on Form 13F, this becomes a full ownership register and moves to its own company page. Nothing shown here is provisional: the figures are filed and dated exactly as they are everywhere else on this site.

X-energy is an American nuclear reactor and fuel company based in Rockville, Maryland, founded in 2009 by Kam Ghaffarian and led since 2019 by former Deputy Energy Secretary Clay Sell. It develops the Xe-100, a helium cooled pebble bed small modular reactor of roughly 80 megawatts electric per unit that is designed to be built in four unit plants and to supply high temperature steam as well as power, and it manufactures the TRISO-X fuel the reactor runs on: uranium kernels coated in carbon and ceramic layers and pressed into billiard ball sized fuel pebbles, at a fabrication plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Announced deployments include the Long Mott Generating Station at a Dow chemical site on the Texas Gulf Coast, the Cascade Advanced Energy Facility with Energy Northwest in Washington State, and a UK agreement with Centrica. The company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker XE in April 2026, raising just over one billion dollars.

Source

X-Energy, Inc. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Wikipedia: X-energy, X-energy Announces Pricing of Upsized Initial Public Offering, X-energy is Developing a Pebble Bed Reactor That They Say Can't Melt Down (US Department of Energy) and X-Energy, Inc. Form 10-Q for the quarter ended 31 March 2026 (SEC). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.

Where each figure comes from

A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not

It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. Many other shareholders can hold X-Energy, Inc. without appearing here, and nothing on this page rules them out: the ownership register that would show them is built from a quarter of 13F data that closed before this company listed. Percentages are of X-Energy, Inc. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
