Upvest is a Berlin financial technology company, founded in 2017, that sells banks, brokers and wealth managers the plumbing behind an investment product rather than an app of its own. Its Investment API lets a client offer stocks, exchange traded funds and fractional shares, and Upvest carries out the trading, settlement, custody and back office work behind them as a regulated securities institution in the European Union and the United Kingdom, holding BaFin licences that cover securities brokerage and custody. More than 30 financial institutions use it, among them Revolut, N26, Webull, Raisin, DKB and Santander's Openbank, and the platform handles over 100 million client orders a year. In March 2026 it raised about 125 million dollars, made up of a 90 million dollar equity round led by Sapphire Ventures and Tencent plus a 35 million dollar debt facility.
Source
Upvest GmbH files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Upvest raises $125M to strengthen its API-based investment platform (Tech.eu, March 2026), Upvest partners with BlackRock to make investing more accessible for millions of Europeans (BlackRock newsroom) and Upvest raises EUR 30 million and secures deal with BlackRock (Finextra). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Upvest GmbH where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
