One company in the researched set discloses a stake in Source One Plastics GmbH, none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. Source One Plastics operates a plastic waste sorting and pre treatment plant at Eicklingen in Lower Saxony, Germany, formed in 2022 as a joint venture between 23 Oaks Investments, which brings the site, financing and waste sourcing network, and LyondellBasell, which brings the polymer expertise and takes the output. The plant started up in February 2024 and can process about 70,000 tonnes a year of hard to recycle post consumer material such as mixed plastic packaging and flexible polyolefins that would otherwise be incinerated. It uses a dry mechanical process with machine vision sorting that the partners say cuts energy use by up to 30 percent against conventional recycling, and it runs on power from a nearby wind farm and biogas plant. The sorted feedstock supplies LyondellBasell's catalytic advanced recycling plant at Wesseling near Cologne.
Source
Source One Plastics GmbH files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Source One Plastics starts operations at plastic waste sorting and recycling facility (LyondellBasell), About us, Source One Plastics and LyondellBasell Industries N.V. 2025 Form 10-K, Exhibit 21 List of Subsidiaries. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- LyondellBasell Industries N.V.. Exhibit 21.1 to the FY2025 10-K (filed 20 Feb 2026) states that LyondellBasell Industries Holdings B.V. owns a 49% interest in Source One Plastics GmbH. This is a 49 percent ownership interest, written here as the number 49, not as a fraction of 100. LyondellBasell's balance sheet carries a single combined 'Equity investments' line ($3,963 million at 31 Dec 2025 per the 10-K; $3,875 million at 30 Jun 2026 per the most recent 10-Q) covering all equity-method investees together, so no individual carrying value is disclosed for this venture: value_usd is null. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Source One Plastics GmbH where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
