Ringway Jacobs is a British highways services company set up in 2005 to run integrated highway management, maintenance and civil engineering contracts for local authorities. It works through long term partnerships in which its staff are co-located with the council's own transport team and take on the whole job: designing and delivering improvement schemes, resurfacing and structural repairs, winter gritting, street lighting, drainage, verge and tree work, and the customer contact that goes with reported potholes and faults. It currently serves four local authorities and looks after roughly 10,000 miles of carriageway, 8,000 miles of footway and 7,000 miles of public rights of way, its longest standing contract being the Essex Highways partnership with Essex County Council, held since 2012 and extended for a further five years in 2020. It is owned equally by the engineering group Jacobs and the VINCI owned road contractor Ringway, formerly Eurovia UK, and it draws on both shareholders for design and construction capacity on larger schemes.
Source
Ringway Jacobs Limited files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from About (Ringway Jacobs), Ringway Jacobs Secures Full Five-Year Extension to Essex County Council Integrated Highway Partnership (Jacobs) and Ringway Jacobs secures 5-year extension to Essex CC Integrated Highway Partnership (Highways Today). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Jacobs Solutions Inc.. UK (England and Wales) highways-related project entity, listed in Exhibit 21 at 50.00 percent; written here as 50.00, not 0.50. Covered by the same combined 'Noncontrolling interests' balance described on the Jacobs (Thailand) row above; no individual carrying value is disclosed, so value_usd stays null. The FY2026 Q3 10-Q separately mentions an unfavorable interim ruling against 'a consolidated joint venture in which the Company holds a 50 percent interest' (the 'Consolidated JV Matter') in the I&AF segment; the filing does not name that JV, so this is not confirmed to be the same entity and no link is asserted. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Ringway Jacobs Limited where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
