Powder Springs Logistics, LLC is a Delaware registered midstream venture that owns a gas liquids blending system near Atlanta, Georgia, built alongside the Colonial Pipeline at Powder Springs. The system receives butane by rail and truck, stores it in dedicated pressure vessels sized at about 120,000 barrels and injects it into gasoline moving on the Colonial refined products pipeline, which raises the volume of finished fuel and captures the price gap between butane and gasoline during the winter blending season. Construction ran from the mid 2010s and the facility entered service late in the decade, with a Colonial affiliate as one partner and the pipeline operator Magellan Midstream, since absorbed into ONEOK, as the other and as operator of the assets. The venture was a defendant alongside Magellan in a long running Delaware patent case brought by Sunoco over in line butane blending methods.
Source
Powder Springs Logistics, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. Form 10-K for 2022 (SEC EDGAR), Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. Form 10-K for 2015 (SEC EDGAR) and ONEOK, Inc. Form 10-K for 2025, Exhibit 21 subsidiaries (SEC EDGAR). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- ONEOK, Inc.. Equity-method LLC interest, not denominated in shares, so shares is null. Q2 2026 10-Q glossary defines Powder Springs as 'Powder Springs Logistics, LLC, a 50% owned joint venture.' Not present at all in the FY2025 10-K (formed or first reported after year-end 2025). The Q2 2026 10-Q Note H equity-earnings table shows Powder Springs with equity in net earnings of $0 million (Q2 2026) and a $(26) million loss (six months, including an impairment) but the 10-Q gives only the combined $3,139 million 'Investments in unconsolidated affiliates' balance sheet total for June 30, 2026 with no per-investee breakdown, so value_usd is null. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Powder Springs Logistics, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
