Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical operates a propylene oxide and styrene monomer plant in the Zhenhai district of Ningbo, in Zhejiang province, China. It was set up by Sinopec's Zhenhai Refining and Chemical subsidiary, which holds the majority and supplies feedstock and site infrastructure from the adjacent refinery complex, together with a LyondellBasell holding company, which brought the PO/SM process technology it also uses at Channelview in Texas and at Rotterdam. The plant represented an investment of more than 574 million dollars, started up in 2010 and is designed for roughly 285,000 tonnes a year of propylene oxide and 620,000 tonnes a year of styrene monomer, output sold into the Chinese polyurethane and polystyrene markets. It was the largest PO/SM unit in the world when built.
Source
Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical Co. Ltd. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from LyondellBasell locations: Ningbo, China, LyondellBasell and Sinopec announce joint venture to manufacture propylene oxide and styrene monomer in China (PR Newswire) and Lyondell joins ZRCC in world scale petrochemical plant project in China (Industrial Info Resources). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- LyondellBasell Industries N.V.. Exhibit 21.1 to the FY2025 10-K (filed 20 Feb 2026) states that Lyondell China Holdings Limited owns a 26.65% interest in Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical Co. Ltd.. This is a 26.65 percent ownership interest, written here as the number 26.65, not as a fraction of 100. Cross-checked against Note 10 (Equity Investments) of the same 10-K, which lists 'Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical Co. Ltd.' at 26.65.00% ownership as of both 31 Dec 2025 and 31 Dec 2024, confirming the figure independently within the same filing. LyondellBasell's balance sheet carries a single combined 'Equity investments' line ($3,963 million at 31 Dec 2025 per the 10-K; $3,875 million at 30 Jun 2026 per the most recent 10-Q) covering all equity-method investees together, so no individual carrying value is disclosed for this venture: value_usd is null. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical Co. Ltd. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
