Arclin is a materials science manufacturer headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, with plants across North and South America, Europe and Asia, and is controlled by the private equity firm TJC, L.P., formerly The Jordan Company. It makes polymer technologies, resins, adhesives, coatings, dispersants, amines, waxes and sealants and engineered building products, selling into construction, agriculture, transportation infrastructure, weather and fire protection, pharmaceuticals, nutrition and electronics. On 1 April 2026 it completed the purchase of DuPont's aramids business for about 1.8 billion dollars, adding the Kevlar and Nomex brands and their protective fibre and paper products for aerospace, electrical infrastructure, electric vehicles and personal protective equipment. New Arclin U.S. Holding Corp. is the holding company through which that structure sits.
