Independent Cement & Lime Pty Ltd (ICL) supplies cement, lime and blended cementitious products to the construction market in Victoria and New South Wales, and acts as the exclusive distributor in those states for the cement produced by Adbri, formerly Adelaide Brighton. Founded in 1987 and headquartered at Port Melbourne, it runs a bulk cement terminal there that dispatches over a million tonnes of product a year, a depot at Glendenning in western Sydney, and through its Steel Cement subsidiary a granulated blast furnace slag grinding plant at Yarraville in Melbourne. Its range covers general purpose and off white cements, shrinkage limited and sulphate resisting grades, and Ecoblend blended cements that substitute slag for clinker to cut the embodied carbon of concrete. The business is a joint venture of Adbri and the Melbourne based Barro Group.

Source

Independent Cement & Lime Pty Ltd files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Independent Cement and Lime Group (LinkedIn company page), Cement division (Barro Group) and CRH looks south (Global Cement). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.

Where each figure comes from

A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not

It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Independent Cement & Lime Pty Ltd where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
