Hyphen Technologies builds the Automated Makeline, a robotic assembly line for restaurant kitchens that takes digital orders and portions ingredients into bowls and salads as the container travels along a lower conveyor, leaving staff on the upper line free to hand build items such as burritos, tacos and quesadillas. The San Jose, California company sells the hardware together with its CulinaryOS software to fast casual chains, pitching higher throughput and more accurate portioning in the same kitchen footprint rather than the removal of staff. Chipotle began testing the system at its Cultivate Center in Irvine in 2023 and put an augmented version into restaurants from 2024, and Hyphen closed a 25 million dollar Series B in August 2025 that brought in CAVA Group as an investor and customer. Manufacturing is scaled with Re:Build Manufacturing and field service is handled through Ricoh USA.
Source
Hyphen Technologies, Inc. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Hyphen Raises $25M to Scale Automated Makelines (PR Newswire), Chipotle Teams Up With Hyphen to Begin Testing New Digital Makeline (Chipotle Newsroom), Chipotle Debuts Autocado and the Augmented Makeline by Hyphen in Restaurants (Chipotle Newsroom) and Hyphen automated restaurant solutions (company website). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Hyphen Technologies, Inc. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
