One company in the researched set discloses a stake in Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems LLC, none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems, which trades as HD MicroSystems, makes polyimide and PBO precursor chemistries for microelectronics: liquid and photosensitive coating materials that are spun onto wafers and cured to form stress buffers, passivation layers, redistribution dielectrics and adhesive films in semiconductor packaging and display manufacture. It was formed in 1997 as a 50/50 venture that combined DuPont photochemistry and polymer science with Hitachi Chemical resin and electronics expertise, and the parents contributed their existing polyimide coating businesses, supplied from Parlin, New Jersey and from Hitachi City in Japan. It keeps manufacturing in the United States and Japan, an analysis and testing laboratory with a clean room in Taiwan, and technical support offices in Japan, the United States and Taiwan, plus business operations in Germany and South Korea. The two founding parents now trade as Qnity and Resonac.
Source
Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from About HD MicroSystems and DuPont/Hitachi in joint venture (ICIS, 1997). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Qnity Electronics, Inc., as of 30 Jun 2026. FY2025 10-K, Note 12 (Nonconsolidated Affiliates): 'The Company had an ownership interest in three nonconsolidated affiliates, with each ownership interest representing 50% at December 31, 2025.' Only one of the three is named anywhere in the 10-K or the Q2 2026 10-Q text: Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems LLC, referenced solely in connection with a Related Party Note Payable ($53 million at 31 Dec 2025, $79 million at 30 Jun 2026, per the Q2 2026 10-Q) arising from a cash-management arrangement, not from its equity value. Qnity's net investment in all three nonconsolidated affiliates combined was $386 million at 31 Dec 2025 and $410 million at 30 Jun 2026 (Investments and (other) noncurrent receivables). Because the filing discloses only the combined total and not Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems LLC's individual carrying value, value_usd is left null rather than assigning it the combined balance (per the rule against assigning a combined balance to one investee). The other two nonconsolidated affiliates are not named anywhere in either filing; see notes and unknowns. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Hitachi Chem DuP Microsystems LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
