Fervo Energy develops enhanced geothermal power, applying horizontal drilling, fibre optic sensing and reservoir engineering techniques borrowed from shale oil and gas to create engineered reservoirs in hot rock that would not produce on its own. Founded in 2017 by Tim Latimer and Jack Norbeck and based in Houston, Texas, it proved the approach at Project Red in Nevada, which began delivering about 3.5 megawatts of round the clock power in 2023, and is now building Cape Station near Milford in Beaver County, Utah, a project sized at 500 megawatts across two phases with permits allowing expansion toward 2 gigawatts. Its power is contracted to utilities and corporate buyers including NV Energy, Southern California Edison, Clean Power Alliance and Shell Energy, much of it serving data centre demand. The company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker FRVO on 13 May 2026, selling 70 million shares at 27 dollars each.
Source
Fervo Energy files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Wikipedia: Fervo Energy, Fervo Energy Announces Pricing of its Upsized Initial Public Offering (Fervo Energy) and Fervo nabs $462M to complete massive next-gen geothermal project (Canary Media). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Fervo Energy where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
