Eiger Express Pipeline, LLC is the vehicle building a natural gas pipeline from the Permian Basin of West Texas to the Katy area near Houston, with reserved capacity for deliveries into the Corpus Christi market. Announced in August 2025 and upsized that November from a 42 inch to a 48 inch line with added compression, the roughly 450 mile system is designed to move up to about 3.7 billion cubic feet a day and is underpinned by firm transportation contracts of ten years or longer. Gas is drawn from processing plants and pipeline connections in the Midland and Delaware basins. The venture brings together the Matterhorn joint venture, WhiteWater, ONEOK and MPLX, with WhiteWater constructing and operating the line and the midstream partners supplying volumes from their own Permian processing. Completion is expected in mid 2028.
Source
Eiger Express Pipeline, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from ONEOK announces Permian to Gulf Coast region joint venture natural gas pipeline, 25 August 2025, Eiger Express Pipeline capacity expansion, 24 November 2025 and ONEOK announces Permian to Gulf Coast region joint venture natural gas pipeline, World Pipelines. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- ONEOK, Inc.. Equity-method LLC interest, not denominated in shares, so shares is null. FY2025 10-K and Q2 2026 10-Q glossary both define Eiger as 'Eiger Express Pipeline, LLC, a 25.5% owned joint venture, including the 10.5% held through Matterhorn.' Eiger is not broken out as its own line in the FY2025 10-K Note N investments table (which lists BridgeTex, Northern Border, Overland Pass, Saddlehorn, Matterhorn, MVP, Roadrunner, Texas City Logistics and an unnamed 'Other Various' $346 million line); the carrying value is therefore assumed to sit inside 'Other Various' and is not individually sized, so value_usd is null per the brief's rule on combined balances. WhiteWater Midstream, LLC is the operator of both Matterhorn and Eiger. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Eiger Express Pipeline, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
