Yatai Building Materials Group is the cement arm of Jilin Yatai (Group) Co., Ltd., the Changchun based conglomerate listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under 600881, and it is the largest cement producer in northeastern China. The business runs integrated cement plants and separate grinding stations across Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning provinces, making cement and readymixed concrete for construction and infrastructure customers in the three northeastern provinces and exporting into neighbouring markets. It was a top ten cement supplier nationally at the time an international partner bought in during 2008 and 2009, when capacity stood at 14 million tonnes a year and an investment programme was lifting it towards 18 million tonnes. Its results turn on regional construction demand, cement prices in a competitive local market and coal and power costs.
Source
China Yatai Building Materials Group Company Limited files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from CRH plc Exhibit 21.1, principal subsidiaries and equity accounted investments, Form 10-K filed 18 February 2026, CRH completes buy of 26 percent stake in China's Jilin Yatai Group (Proactive Investors), CRH plc Annual Report and Form 20-F 2019 and Yatai Group (Wikipedia). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- CRH plc. China. Products/services: Cement. Not consolidated: accounted for under the equity method. CRH's FY2025 10-K reports a single combined 'Equity method investments' balance of $737 million as of 31 Dec 2025 ($620 million at 31 Dec 2024, $649 million at 31 Dec 2023, per the Adjusted ROIC reconciliation in Item 7 MD&A) covering ALL of the entities in this exhibit table together. The filing does not disclose a per-investee carrying value, so value_usd is null here per the combined-balance rule; the combined figure is recorded in notes and unknowns, not assigned to this row. This is the entity named in the 10-K's Item 7 MD&A: a $190 million (pre-tax, CRH's-share) impairment of this investment drove the $108 million net loss from equity method investments in 2024, versus $26 million of net income from equity method investments in 2025 'reflecting contributions from the Company's investments in North America and Australia' (implying a smaller net contribution from Yatai and/or other Asian investees in 2025, not separately quantified). Not confirmed whether this entity is a subsidiary/JV vehicle of the Shenzhen-listed Jilin Yatai Group (000809.SZ) or an unrelated namesake; no ticker is asserted here, so target_ticker stays null and target_is_private stays true pending confirmation. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of China Yatai Building Materials Group Company Limited where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
