Cameron LNG JV, formally Cameron LNG Holdings, LLC, owns and operates the Cameron LNG Phase 1 plant at Hackberry, Louisiana, on the Calcasieu Ship Channel about 18 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. The site began as an LNG import and regasification terminal in 2009 and was rebuilt for export: it now runs three natural gas pre-treatment, processing and liquefaction trains with a combined nameplate capacity of 13.9 million tonnes a year and export capacity of 12 million tonnes, roughly 1.7 billion cubic feet of gas a day, with the first train starting up in 2019 and the other two in 2020. The venture does not trade LNG. It operates as a toll processor, with 20 year liquefaction and regasification capacity agreements held by affiliates of TotalEnergies, Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsui and Co. that subscribe the full nameplate capacity of all three trains. Its members are Sempra Infrastructure Partners, TotalEnergies, Mitsui and Japan LNG Investment, a vehicle of Mitsubishi Corporation and NYK Line, and a proposed Phase 2 would add a fourth train and debottleneck the existing plant.

Cameron LNG JV files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Sempra Form 10-K for the year ended 31 December 2025, Cameron LNG: About and Global Energy Monitor: Cameron LNG Terminal. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Sempra, as of 30 Jun 2026. Q2 2026 10-Q, Sempra Texas/Infrastructure equity investments note: 'we account for our investment in Cameron LNG JV under the equity method. At June 30, 2026 and December 31, 2025, the carrying value of our investment is $1,315 million and $1,259 million, respectively, of which $1,299 million and $1,242 million, respectively, is classified as held for sale.' This $1,315 million is specific to Cameron LNG JV alone, not a combined multi-JV balance. A SEPARATE line, 'Equity method investments $2,649 million,' appears within the Note 6 Assets Held for Sale table and represents several equity-method investees inside the SI Partners disposal group taken together (Cameron LNG's $1,299 million held-for-sale portion plus other, individually undisclosed investees, implying roughly $1,350 million of other equity-method balances not attributable to any single named investee). That combined $2,649 million figure is deliberately NOT used here and is not assigned to Cameron LNG or to any other single investee. The $1,315 million reported is Sempra's full consolidated carrying value of the equity investment, held via the currently 70%-Sempra-owned, consolidated SI Partners; it is not separately reduced for KKR Pinnacle's 20% or ADIA's 10% noncontrolling interests in SI Partners (those interests are reflected via NCI elsewhere on Sempra's balance sheet, not netted out of this equity-method balance). source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Cameron LNG JV where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
