BridgeTex Pipeline Company owns and operates the BridgeTex crude oil pipeline, a roughly 400 mile line that carries crude from the Permian Basin of West Texas to refineries and export terminals on the Houston Gulf Coast. It originates at terminals at Colorado City and Crane in the Permian and delivers into the East Houston and Texas City area, connecting Permian gathering systems at one end with Gulf Coast refining, storage and dock capacity at the other. The line entered service in 2014 at a cost of about $1 billion with initial throughput of 300,000 barrels a day, and two expansions completed in 2017 and 2018 lifted capacity to 440,000 barrels a day by adding pumping and drag reducing capability rather than new pipe. It runs as a shipper venture between midstream operators, with ONEOK, which acquired the interest built by Magellan Midstream Partners, as the majority owner and operator alongside Plains All American Pipeline.
Source
BridgeTex Pipeline Company, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from BridgeTex Oil Pipeline (Global Energy Monitor), Crude oil (ONEOK customer pages) and ONEOK restarts 440,000 bpd BridgeTex crude pipeline (Pipeline and Gas Journal). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- ONEOK, Inc., as of 31 Dec 2025. Equity-method LLC interest, not denominated in shares, so shares is null. FY2025 10-K Note N (Unconsolidated Affiliates) investments table: 'BridgeTex 60% $504 $250' (2025 and 2024 carrying value in millions). Footnote (a): in July 2025, ONEOK purchased an additional 30% interest, resulting in the 60% ownership interest. The Q2 2026 10-Q Note H confirms BridgeTex remains an unconsolidated affiliate (equity in net earnings of $3 million for Q2 2026, $16 million six months) but does not restate a Q2 2026 carrying value, so the FY2025 figure is used. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of BridgeTex Pipeline Company, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
