Boomerang Water builds and operates a self contained, closed loop bottling system that lets a venue produce its own bottled water on site instead of buying it in. The patented, semi automated machine washes and rinses returned bottles, filters and purifies local tap water, then fills and caps it into reusable aluminium or glass bottles, running at roughly 300 to 500 bottles an hour, and the empties are collected on the premises and cycled straight back through the machine. It is sold to sites where bottles can realistically be recovered: hotels and resorts, convention centres and event venues, cruise lines, corporate and university campuses and manufacturing plants, with installations including the Greater Columbus Convention Center and The Statler Hotel at Cornell University. Founded in 2017, the company is based in Midland, North Carolina, and it sources the refillable aluminium bottles used in the system from Ball Corporation under an alliance announced in September 2022.
Source
Boomerang Water, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Boomerang Water company website, Ball Corporation enters into an alliance with Boomerang Water (Ball newsroom) and Ball Corporation enters into an alliance with Boomerang Water (PR Newswire). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Ball Corporation. Ball's 30 Jun 2026 10-Q Note 13 rounds this to a '33 percent ownership interest in an entity in the U.S.' as part of the same combined $259 million 'Investments in affiliates' balance described on the Guatemala row. FY2025 10-K Exhibit 21.1 gives the exact figure: Boomerang Water, LLC, Delaware, 32.67 percent. Combined balance not disaggregated by entity, so value_usd is null. pct_of_target is written as the precise 32.67, not the 10-Q's rounded 33, per the more exact Exhibit 21.1 source. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Boomerang Water, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
