The Aero JV, which trades as Aero Alliance, is the aeroderivative gas turbine venture that Baker Hughes formed with General Electric in 2019 and that has been jointly controlled on equal terms by Baker Hughes and GE Vernova since GE transferred its interest at the 2024 spin-off. It supplies aeroderivative engines and spare parts and carries out repairs and maintenance for both partners and for their authorised service provider network, serving the LM2500, LM6000 and LMS100 engine families used in power generation and in oil and gas installations. Its three Level 4 service depots are at Jacintoport in Houston, Texas, at Avenza in Italy, and at Port Klang in Malaysia. Baker Hughes reported purchases from the venture of $148 million in the first quarter of 2025.
Source
Aero JV (aeroderivative joint venture with GE Vernova) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Baker Hughes Company Form 10-Q, quarter ended 31 March 2025, Note 15 Related Party Transactions, GE Vernova: Aero Alliance service depots and GE Vernova careers: Aero Alliance. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Baker Hughes Company, as of 31 Dec 2025. Baker Hughes' equity-method investments carried a single combined balance of $1,117 million at 31 Dec 2025 ($1,080 million at 31 Dec 2024), covering the Aero JV plus other unnamed equity-method investees (FY2025 10-K, equity-method investments note). The 10-K does not break the total out by investee, so the Aero JV's individual carrying value is not disclosed and is left null per the combined-balance rule; the combined figure is not attributed to this holding. Purchases from the Aero JV were $800m (2025), $698m (2024) and $517m (2023), and $226m per quarter in H1 2026 per the Q2 2026 10-Q, but these are transaction volumes, not the investment's carrying value. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Aero JV (aeroderivative joint venture with GE Vernova) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
