The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 499 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
499 managers reported a position, together holding 71.5m shares, or 68.9% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 103.8m shares outstanding at 30 Apr 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Wynn Resorts holds an approximately 72% controlling interest in Wynn Macau, Limited (HKEX: 1128), a separately Hong Kong-listed subsidiary operating Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau. This is real, sized cross-holding: 3,750,000,000 ordinary shares (71.34% per WML's own most recent detailed substantial-shareholder disclosure), held through the wholly-owned chain WM Cayman Holdings Limited I -> Wynn Group Asia, Inc. -> Wynn Resorts Finance, LLC -> Wynn Resorts Holdings, LLC -> Wynn Resorts, Limited. The exact share count is sourced from WML's own Hong Kong regulatory disclosure content (read via wynnmacaulimited.com), not from an SEC filing, so basis is aggregator/reported rather than filed_10k or filed_13f, per the project's rule for a non-filing source of a foreign share count. The value figure ($2.80bn) is a HK dollar market value converted to USD at the approximate currency peg (7.80 HKD/USD); it is NOT itself a USD-denominated filed figure.
- Wynn also holds a confirmed 40% equity interest in Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC and affiliated ventures (the Al Marjan Joint Venture), an unconsolidated affiliate building Wynn Al Marjan Island, a UAE integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah expected to open September 2027. pct_of_target is recorded as 40 (a percentage), not 0.4, matching the words 'a 40% equity interest' in the Company's own 10-Q. The carrying value ($1,110,425,000 at 2026-06-30) is the entire 'Investments in unconsolidated affiliates' balance-sheet line, assignable in full because Island 3/the Al Marjan Joint Venture is the Company's only disclosed equity-method investee.
- A third Las Vegas retail joint venture (50.1% owned and managed by the Company) was found and reviewed but excluded from holdings: the Company is the primary beneficiary of this VIE and CONSOLIDATES it (it is not an unconsolidated affiliate), so it functions as a controlled operating asset with a noncontrolling-interest partner rather than an equity stake in another company, consistent with the project's rule to exclude consolidated/controlled operating entities.
- The 10-Q, 10-Q notes, and Exhibit 21-adjacent equity-method disclosures were searched in full for 'equity method', 'unconsolidated affiliates', 'joint venture', 'noncontrolling interests' and 'investments in affiliates'; the two holdings above (Wynn Macau and the Al Marjan Joint Venture) are the only two positions found. No other equity-method or cost-method investee, and no non-marketable private equity securities line, was found.
- Register self-gate, computed on the FINAL file the way the chart computes it (raw shares summed, aggregate/member logic applied; no rolls_up_into rows exist in this file so every row counts at full value): 12 register rows, total shares 65,833,069, shares_outstanding 102,973,891, 63.93% of the company. This is above the 55% threshold that requires independent corroboration per the project's added guidance. Corroboration: (1) this project's own data/registers/WYNN.json snapshot reports total_shares_reported 71,482,695 across 499 distinct 13F filers as of 31 Mar 2026, i.e. roughly 69% of shares outstanding held by the FULL universe of institutional 13F filers alone, before adding any of the non-13F strategic/individual holders; the 7 conventional institutional rows curated here (Capital Group, Vanguard, BlackRock, Fidelity, State Street, Barrow Hanley, Geode; T. Rowe Price is negligible at 0.12%) sum to about 37.5m shares (36.4% of the company), well under that 69% full-universe figure, confirming this subset is a conservative partial sum rather than an overcount. (2) Wynn Resorts carries an unusually large, independently disclosed strategic/insider block on top of that: Fertitta (12.11%), Elaine Wynn Family Trust (9.17%), Galaxy Entertainment Group (5.00%) and the officer/director group (0.87%) sum to 27.2% and come from a wholly disjoint population (13D/G individual filers, who do not appear in the 13F universe at all), so there is no overlap risk between the two halves of this register. Institutional ~36.9% (using recomputed pct_of_company figures) + strategic/insider ~27.2% = ~64.1%, matching the computed 63.93% within rounding. The elevated total is explained by Wynn Resorts' genuinely concentrated ownership (a large founder-family and strategic-investor bloc alongside conventional institutional holders), not by double counting.
- The DEF 14A 5%-shareholders table itself uses 104,043,396 shares outstanding as of 12 Mar 2026 (a slightly higher, earlier count than the 10-Q's 102,973,891 as of 31 Jul 2026, reflecting buybacks in the interim); pct_of_company for the Fertitta, Elaine Wynn Family Trust, Galaxy Group and officer/director rows was recomputed here against the current 102,973,891 denominator rather than the proxy's own count, per the project's rule to use one consistent denominator throughout.
- Implied-price check run on every fresh 13F row: Capital Group $97.09, Vanguard family $97.09, Fidelity $97.09, Barrow Hanley $97.09, Geode $96.93, T. Rowe Price Associates $97.10 (after correcting the known thousands-reporting quirk). All consistent, confirming no other unit errors.
- Coordinator correction and verification. The State Street row was upgraded after research: it originally carried a Q1 2026 figure of 2,970,514 shares at basis 'aggregator' because the researcher could not identify the right filer CIK. The correct registrant is STATE STREET CORP, CIK 0000093751, whose Q2 2026 13F-HR (filed 7 Aug 2026) reports 3,047,930 shares of CUSIP 983134107 worth $295,923,524, an implied price of $97.09 that matches every other fresh row here. The row is now basis filed_13f and confidence filed, and the corresponding gap has been removed from unknowns. The register self-gate is restated accordingly: 12 rows, 65,910,485 charted shares, 64.01 per cent of the 102,973,891 shares outstanding, replacing the pre-correction figure of 65,833,069 and 63.93 per cent. The total remains above the project's 55 per cent line and is genuine rather than a double count, because an unusually large strategic and insider bloc sits entirely outside the 13F population and does not overlap it: Tilman Fertitta at 12.11 per cent, the Elaine P. Wynn Family Trust at 9.17 per cent and Galaxy Entertainment Group at 5.00 per cent together account for over a quarter of the company and none of the three reports through a 13F. Both holdings-side percentages were also re-read against their own method_note prose and are written as PERCENTAGES: Wynn Macau at 71.34 and the Al Marjan joint venture at 40, not 0.7134 and 0.4.
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- No non-marketable private-equity or cost-method securities line was found anywhere in the 10-Q beyond the two equity-method investments already sized (Wynn Macau and the Al Marjan Joint Venture); if one exists it was not disclosed under any of the search terms used.
- Exhibit 21 (list of subsidiaries) was not separately pulled in this task; the two disclosed equity-method investees were found directly in the 10-Q's notes and are believed to be the complete list of the Company's minority/JV holdings, but Exhibit 21 was not cross-checked for a percentage column as an additional source.
