Address, industry classification, listing and incorporation come from Quanta Services, Inc.'s own SEC filer record, so the industry is the SEC's dry classification rather than a marketing label. The website comes from Wikidata. The headcount is the figure the Wikipedia article states, undated, not a figure this site has verified against a filing. Description
Quanta Services is a U.S. corporation that provides infrastructure services for the electric power, pipeline, industrial and communications industries. The company has grown organically since its founding, but it has also acquired over 200 companies in the electrical contracting and other construction industries. In the 2020s, it has been involved in the construction of data centers as a consequence of the rise of artificial intelligence and its need for electrical power.

No position on this side carries a sourced value, so there is nothing to chart. The table still lists 3 of them.

The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 1,715 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
1,715 managers reported a position, together holding 135.9m shares, or 90.5% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 150.1m shares outstanding at 27 Apr 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Combined equity-investment balances not broken into named holdings. Quanta's Q2 2026 10-Q reports total equity investments of $433.887 million at 30 Jun 2026 ($411.681 million at 31 Dec 2025), split into 'equity method investments, integral unconsolidated affiliates' ($283.262 million / $265.094 million), 'equity method investments, non-integral unconsolidated affiliates' ($94.663 million / $76.134 million), and 'non-marketable equity securities' ($55.962 million / $70.453 million). The integral-affiliates line covers at least three named-in-prose but not individually sized investees: LUMA Energy LLC (50%), an unnamed wood utility pole/laminated wood products manufacturer (40.0%, acquired FY2025), and an unnamed high-voltage dead-tank circuit breaker JV (49%, acquired H1 2026). Because the filing gives one combined dollar balance for all of them together, value_usd is null on all three holding rows per the brief's rule against assigning a combined balance to one investee; the ownership percentages themselves are separately and individually disclosed in prose, so those are recorded as filed.
- Non-integral unconsolidated affiliates ($94.663 million) and non-marketable equity securities ($55.962 million) are generic categories in the 10-K/10-Q with no investee named in either filing (searched both for 'non-marketable equity securities', 'strategic investment', 'minority interest'; no company name surfaced). No holding rows are recorded for these balances; they are logged in unknowns instead of being invented as sized positions.
- Vanguard Group Inc (CIK 0000102909) filed Form 13F-NT (notice, no holdings) for the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026, consistent with the Vanguard 13F reporting reorganisation seen across this project's other files. Per the brief's Vanguard rule, the register substitutes a single 'The Vanguard Group' row equal to the sum of successor filers Vanguard Capital Management LLC and Vanguard Portfolio Management LLC rather than listing Vanguard multiple times.
- Capital Group appears in the register as the sum of two separately filing Capital Group entities (Capital World Investors and Capital International Investors), both of which filed ordinary 13F-HR (not NT) for Q2 2026; this is a same-parent-brand aggregation for readability, not the Vanguard NT/successor case. The manager list supplied for this project named a third Capital Group entity, Capital Research Global Investors (CIK 0001422848), which was checked directly and holds no Quanta position at 30 Jun 2026 (its CUSIP 74762E102 row is absent from its 426-row information table).
- Register reconciliation against the 2026 proxy. Quanta's 2026 DEF 14A (based on stale Schedule 13G/A data, various 2024-2025 dates) names only three holders above 5%: The Vanguard Group at 18,143,230 shares (12.1%), BlackRock, Inc. at 11,168,211 shares (7.4%), and JPMorgan Chase & Co. at 7,597,939 shares (5.0%+). EDGAR's SC 13D/13G filing history for Quanta (CIK 0001050915) shows no Schedule 13D ever filed and no Schedule 13G/A filed since 10 Oct 2024, so the proxy's 5%-owner table is materially stale relative to the fresher Q2 2026 13F-HR data used in this register; the register uses the 13F data as instructed rather than the proxy figures. The JPMorgan 13F figure used here (5,308,495 shares, 3.5%) is meaningfully lower than the stale 13G-based 7,597,939 shares in the proxy, consistent with a position reduction between the two dates rather than a data error.
- Additional Q2 2026 13F holders checked but ranked below the top 12 by shares, so excluded from the register for space: Charles Schwab Investment Management (1,207,652 shares), Franklin Resources (1,147,679 shares), MFS/Massachusetts Financial Services (477,445 shares), Wells Fargo & Company (470,007 shares), Wellington Management Group (4,071 shares).
- Percentages are computed against 150,343,393 common shares outstanding as of 27 Jul 2026 (Q2 2026 10-Q cover page), except the two proxy-sourced insider rows, which use the proxy's own denominator of 150,056,336 shares as of 26 Mar 2026.
- Market capitalisation ($106.68 billion) and share price ($709.56) are stockanalysis.com's figures as of 17 Aug 2026, 12:10pm EDT (intraday). Cross-check: 150,343,393 shares x $709.56 implies approximately $106.68 billion, consistent with the reported market cap.
- Self-gate check: summing the twelve non-aggregate, non-insider register rows (Vanguard through Northern Trust, with Vanguard and Capital Group each already collapsed to one row) gives 65,875,347 shares against 150,343,393 shares outstanding, or 43.82%, within the expected 25 to 45 percent range.
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- Individual carrying values for LUMA Energy LLC, the unnamed wood utility pole/laminated wood products investee, and the unnamed high-voltage dead-tank circuit breaker JV. Quanta's Q2 2026 10-Q and FY2025 10-K disclose only a combined 'equity method investments, integral unconsolidated affiliates' balance ($283.262 million at 30 Jun 2026) covering all three; no per-investee dollar figure, unit count, or receivable breakdown is given. Looked in the Investments Note (equity method investments table and prose) of both filings.
- Legal names of the wood utility pole/laminated wood products manufacturer (40.0% interest, acquired FY2025) and the high-voltage dead-tank circuit breaker joint venture (49% interest, acquired H1 2026). Neither the FY2025 10-K nor the Q2 2026 10-Q names either investee in prose; the JV's only identifier found was an internal XBRL tag ('HighVoltageDeadTankCircuitBreakersJointVentureMember').
- Constituents of the 'non-integral unconsolidated affiliates' ($94.663 million) and 'non-marketable equity securities' ($55.962 million) balances at 30 Jun 2026. No individual investee is named for either category in the Q2 2026 10-Q or FY2025 10-K.
- Whether Vanguard-affiliated 13F filers other than Vanguard Capital Management LLC and Vanguard Portfolio Management LLC (e.g. Vanguard Advisers Inc, Vanguard Fiduciary Trust Co) also hold PWR shares. Not individually checked within the time budget; if they do, the true Vanguard aggregate is somewhat higher than the 16,729,762 shares used here.
- Whether Capital Group-affiliated 13F filers beyond Capital World Investors and Capital International Investors (there are several dozen possible SEC-registered Capital Group advisers) hold additional PWR shares. Not individually checked.
- Quanta's Q3 2026 10-Q was not yet filed as of 17 Aug 2026 (per the EDGAR submissions feed for CIK 0001050915), so any equity-investment activity in that quarter is not reflected.
- No fresh 2026 Schedule 13D or 13G on Quanta common stock exists on EDGAR (most recent is a 13G/A filed 10 Oct 2024), so the register relies on 13F-HR data rather than a 2026 13D/G cross-check for any holder.
