One company in the researched set discloses a stake in TransCanyon, LLC, none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. TransCanyon, LLC is private, so no 13F reports it: a 13F covers exchange listed positions only. These figures exist because each holder disclosed the stake in its own filings.

TransCanyon, LLC is an independent electric transmission developer for the western United States, set up in 2014 as a joint venture between Bright Canyon Energy, a Pinnacle West Capital Corporation subsidiary, and BHE U.S. Transmission, part of Berkshire Hathaway Energy. It identifies, develops, builds, owns and operates transmission projects across the eleven state Western Electricity Coordinating Council footprint, competing for projects rather than serving a franchised utility territory. Its main project is Cross-Tie, a 214 mile, 500 kilovolt line from the Clover substation at Mona, Utah to the Robinson Summit substation near Ely, Nevada, which would move about 1,500 megawatts between the Utah and Nevada grids. In October 2023 the Department of Energy's Grid Deployment Office selected TransCanyon to negotiate a capacity contract for Cross-Tie under the 2.5 billion dollar Transmission Facilitation Program created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
Source
TransCanyon, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from TransCanyon, LLC Selected by U.S. Department of Energy under Transmission Facilitation Program (Pinnacle West newsroom), Cross-Tie Transmission Line (TransCanyon) and PG&E Joins TransCanyon, a Berkshire Hathaway Energy and Pinnacle West Joint Venture, to Pursue Competitive Transmission Projects (PG&E Corporation investor relations). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Pinnacle West Capital Corporation. TransCanyon was formed in 2014 to pursue independent electric transmission opportunities in the 11-state Western Interconnection, including the 500-kV Cross-Tie Project (BLM Record of Decision issued 18 Dec 2025, non-appealable late January 2026). Ownership split (50%) is stated in prose in both the FY2025 10-K and the Q2 2026 10-Q; no dollar carrying value for the PNW Power equity-method investment portfolio is broken out anywhere in either filing, so value_usd is left null rather than guessed. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of TransCanyon, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
