SAI Advanced Power Solutions designs, builds and retrofits electrical switchgear and power distribution equipment, including low voltage and medium voltage switchgear, the Profusion power distribution unit that packages a main disconnect, K rated transformer and metered distribution cabinet in one platform, and the EVention distribution platform for electric vehicle charging sites. Its equipment is used by data centre operators, government facilities, healthcare providers, large corporates and equipment makers who resell it, and the company runs a vertically integrated operation in the Chicago area with a 100,000 square foot production centre at Franklin Park, Illinois, a warehouse campus at St. Charles opened in 2024 and a distribution centre at Carol Stream. The business traces to Switchboard Apparatus Co., founded in Chicago in 1907 and run by three generations of the Berthold family until 1992, and took its present form in 2010 when Switchboard Apparatus combined with the custom engineered services unit bought from Emerson Network Power's ASCO business.
Source
SAI files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from About Us (SAI Advanced Power Solutions), SAI Advanced Power Solutions home page and Pinnacle West Capital Corporation Form 10-K for 2025 (SEC EDGAR). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, as of 30 Jun 2026. SAI is a private corporation that manufactures electrical switchgear equipment used by data centers. El Dorado holds common stock in SAI and a board seat. The 10-Q's equity-method table gives SAI and Copper Sky separate carrying values (SAI $34 million, Copper Sky $18 million, total $52 million as of 30 Jun 2026), so this is SAI's own disclosed figure, not a share of a combined bucket. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of SAI where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
