Sadara Chemical Company runs an integrated petrochemical complex in Jubail Industrial City II on Saudi Arabia's Gulf coast, built in a single phase at a cost of about 20 billion dollars and covering roughly six square kilometres. Its 26 manufacturing units include a mixed feed cracker that takes both ethane and naphtha, the first in the Gulf states to crack naphtha, feeding downstream plants that make polyethylene, propylene oxide, propylene glycol, polyols, amines, isocyanates including toluene diisocyanate, and polyolefin elastomers, several of them produced in the kingdom for the first time, with total capacity of more than three million tonnes a year. The venture pairs Saudi Aramco, which supplies feedstock and site infrastructure, with Dow, which contributed the process technology behind the specialty units, and it is also developing PlasChem Park, an adjacent conversion park for downstream manufacturers. On 31 March 2026 Sadara halted production across the complex, citing disruption to feedstock supply and export routes from the regional conflict, and said it could not estimate when output would resume.
Source
Sadara Chemical Company files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Aramco-Dow joint venture Sadara Chemical halts production amid supply chain disruptions (Arab News), Sadara Chemical Company (Saudipedia) and Sadara cracker eyes richer chemical rewards (Chemistry World). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Dow Inc.. Saudi Arabian equity-method joint venture with Saudi Aramco manufacturing chlorine, ethylene, propylene and aromatics for internal consumption, and manufacturing and selling polyethylene, ethylene oxide, propylene oxide derivative products and isocyanates. Percentage taken directly from the 10-K table, which states 35.00 percent; written here as 35.0, not 0.35. No individual carrying value is disclosed: covered by the same combined $1,121 million balance described on the EQUATE row, so value_usd stays null. The 10-K notes the carrying amount of Dow's total nonconsolidated-affiliate investments differs from its share of investees' net assets partly because of basis differences specific to Sadara and EQUATE, but does not size Sadara individually. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Sadara Chemical Company where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
