QatarEnergy LNG NFE(4), known as NFE4, is one of the Qatari joint venture companies created to hold a share of the North Field East liquefied natural gas project, the first and largest phase of Qatar's North Field expansion. North Field East adds four liquefaction trains at Ras Laffan with a combined capacity of about 32 million tonnes a year, drawing gas from the offshore North Field and lifting Qatar's total LNG capacity from 77 to roughly 110 million tonnes a year, with carbon capture and storage built into the design and first production targeted for 2026. NFE4 itself holds a 12.5 percent participating interest in that project and is owned by affiliates of QatarEnergy alongside ConocoPhillips and China National Petroleum Corporation, so its business is the equity share of gas production, liquefaction and LNG sales rather than any separate operation of its own.
Source
QatarEnergy LNG NFE(4) (NFE4) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from ConocoPhillips 2025 Form 10-K (SEC EDGAR), ConocoPhillips joins QatarEnergy's North Field East expansion project (Offshore Energy) and ConocoPhillips joins as 3rd partner in Qatar's North Field East LNG expansion (Anadolu Agency). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- ConocoPhillips. Same combined-balance limitation as N3: only the $1.9 billion combined Qatar carrying value (2026-06-30) is disclosed, no NFE4-specific figure. value_usd left null rather than allocated. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of QatarEnergy LNG NFE(4) (NFE4) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
