Platform 16 Holdings LP is the partnership that owns Platform 16, an office campus planned on a full city block at 440 West Julian Street in downtown San Jose, California, beside Diridon Station and fronting Guadalupe River Park. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the scheme is three six storey buildings of about 1.1 million square feet in total, with 15 foot floor to floor heights, large open floor plates, a terrace on every level and a below grade parking garage, and it sits next to the Caltrain, VTA light rail and ACE services that use Diridon along with planned BART and high speed rail. BXP developed the site and provides development, property management and leasing services to the partnership, while Canada Pension Plan Investment Board supplies the balance of the equity. Construction on a first phase office building of roughly 390,000 square feet began in 2020 and resumed in February 2022, but the partners paused work again in 2023 and BXP now carries the project as a future development.
Source
Platform 16 Holdings LP (Platform 16) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Platform 16 (BXP property page), KPF Breaks Ground on an Innovative Office Complex in San Jose, California (ArchDaily), BXP, Inc. Form 10-K for 2025 (SEC EDGAR) and Boston Properties Begins San Jose Office Project Development (Yahoo Finance / Zacks). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- BXP, Inc. (formerly Boston Properties), as of 30 Jun 2026. 55% joint venture interest in Platform 16, a life-sciences/office development in San Jose, CA. Carrying value $58,353 thousand at 6/30/2026 vs $58,561 thousand at 12/31/2025. Not to be confused with 290 Binney Street, a separate property in which BXP also has a 55% interest but which is CONSOLIDATED (majority-owned, with a noncontrolling interest partner) rather than equity-method, so it is excluded from this holdings list per the project's rule to exclude consolidated/wholly owned items. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Platform 16 Holdings LP (Platform 16) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
