Olenex is a European edible oils and fats business formed as a joint venture between ADM and Wilmar International, combining ADM's European refining assets and customer base with Wilmar's tropical oils supply from Asia. It refines and sells palm, sunflower, rapeseed, soybean and coconut oils and specialty fat blends to food manufacturers (baking, confectionery, ice cream) and to non-food users such as candle, lubricant and animal feed producers. Started in 2012 as a sales and marketing partnership, it was converted in 2016 into a full function joint venture with its own assets, including a specialty oils and fats plant and palm refinery in Hamburg and tropical oils processing at Brake, Germany and Rotterdam, and it markets refined oils from ADM plants across the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom. Its commercial head office is in Rolle, Switzerland.
Source
Olenex Holdings B.V. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from ADM: New Full-Function Olenex JV Provides Comprehensive, Integrated Capabilities in Edible Oils and Fats, European Commission merger decision, Case M.7963 ADM / Wilmar / Olenex JV and Olenex, About Us. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Archer-Daniels-Midland Company. Written here as 37.5, not 0.375, per the 10-Q text: 'Olenex Holdings B.V. (37.5%)'. Named among ADM's Ag Services and Oilseeds segment equity investees elsewhere in the same 10-Q, and the FY2025 10-K's MD&A cites higher earnings from Olenex as a driver of increased equity-in-earnings. No individual carrying value disclosed; covered by the same combined $5,901 million balance described on the Pacificor row, so value_usd stays null. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Olenex Holdings B.V. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
