Next Securities is a South Korean securities firm that traces its roots to Hyundai Futures, founded in 1997, passed through several owners and names, and took its current name in December 2024 after trading as SI Securities. Under Kim Seung Yeon, the former chief executive of Toss Securities who joined in 2025, it is rebuilding itself around artificial intelligence, global expansion and platform design, and is preparing a mobile trading system organised around short form content that pairs personalised market content and social features with AI assisted order placement. The firm employs about 180 people, roughly a quarter of them developers, has set up Next Markets Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore as an engineering hub, and signed an agreement with Siebert Financial in October 2025 to take its technology into the United States.
