NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is a Saudi project company owned in equal thirds by Air Products, ACWA Power and NEOM, formed to build and run a green ammonia plant at Oxagon in the NEOM development on the Red Sea coast. The complex pairs about 4 gigawatts of dedicated renewable generation, roughly 2.2 gigawatts of solar from more than 5.6 million panels and about 1.6 gigawatts of wind from more than 250 turbines, with electrolysers designed to make up to 600 tonnes a day of hydrogen, which is converted to as much as 1.2 million tonnes a year of ammonia and shipped from a purpose built jetty. The project reached financial close in May 2023 on total funding of 8.4 billion dollars, including a 6.1 billion dollar non recourse loan from 23 banks, and was about 90 per cent built by April 2026 with product expected in 2027.
Source
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (ACWA Power) and Air Products, ACWA Power and NEOM sign agreement for production facility (NEOM newsroom). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.. NGHC is a green hydrogen/ammonia project in NEOM City, Saudi Arabia, for which Air Products is the exclusive offtaker. Despite holding only one-third of the voting interests, APD is determined to be the primary beneficiary of this VIE (it has power to unilaterally direct key design and construction decisions) and therefore CONSOLIDATES NGHC rather than carrying it as an equity-method investment. Because it sits on APD's balance sheet as a consolidated subsidiary with a noncontrolling-interest line rather than a discrete investment value, no value_usd is disclosed for the one-third economic interest specifically; shares stays null because the interest is not share-denominated. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
