Louisiana Timber Procurement Company, L.L.C., usually shortened to LTP, is a Delaware limited liability company that buys wood fibre in Louisiana on behalf of its two members. It procures sawtimber, pulpwood, residual chips and other residual wood fibre and supplies it to meet the raw material requirements of Packaging Corporation of America, whose DeRidder mill in Louisiana makes kraft linerboard and corrugating medium, and of Boise Cascade, which runs wood products operations in the state. LTP is a shared purchasing arm rather than a mill owner: it holds little beyond working capital, sells almost all of its output to the two members, and exists so that the pair can source competitively from the same southern pine supply region instead of bidding against each other.
Source
Louisiana Timber Procurement Company, L.L.C. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Packaging Corporation of America Form 10-K for 2025, note 18 (sec.gov), Boise Cascade Company Form 10-K for 2025, note 13 (sec.gov) and Louisiana Timber Procurement definition (Law Insider). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Packaging Corporation of America. Exhibit 21.1 to the FY2025 10-K (filed 26 Feb 2026) lists Louisiana Timber Procurement Company, LLC (LTP) as the only subsidiary/affiliate in the exhibit not shown at 100%, carrying '(50%)'. Note 18 (Segment Information) and Note 18/related-party note of the 10-K state LTP is a variable-interest entity that is 50% owned by PCA and 50% owned by Boise Cascade Company, that LTP procures sawtimber, pulpwood, residual chips and other wood fiber for both owners in Louisiana, and that PCA is deemed LTP's primary beneficiary (power to direct the activities most significant to LTP's economic performance) and therefore CONSOLIDATES LTP rather than accounting for it under the equity method. No separate share count, membership-unit count or standalone valuation for LTP is disclosed anywhere in the 10-K, 10-Q or Exhibit 21.1; its assets/revenue are folded into PCA's consolidated 'Corporate and Other' segment figures, which are not separable into an LTP-only value. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Louisiana Timber Procurement Company, L.L.C. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
