INOX Air Products Private Limited manufactures and supplies industrial and medical gases across India, including oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium, nitrous oxide, acetylene and specialty gas mixtures, delivered through on site plants at customer works, bulk liquid deliveries and packaged cylinders. It operates close to 50 sites with several thousand tonnes a day of liquid gas capacity, runs the largest fleet of cryogenic transport tankers in the country and serves customers in steel, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, electronics and healthcare. The business dates to 1963, when the INOX Group commissioned its first air separation plant at Pune, and took its present form in 1999 when Air Products and Chemicals took an equal partnership alongside the Jain family's INOX Group. It expanded through acquisitions from 2000 onwards, culminating in the 2015 purchase of Essar Steel's 5,100 tonne per day air separation unit, and during the COVID-19 pandemic it delivered more than 570,000 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen to over 800 hospitals.
Source
INOX Air Products Private Limited files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from About INOX Air Products (company website), INOX Air Products joint venture in India celebrates 20 year anniversary (PR Newswire) and Inox Air Products (Wikipedia). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.. Foreign industrial gas producer in India, accounted for under the equity method. This is the joint venture entity itself (private), distinct from any publicly traded INOX-group parent company. Part of the combined equity affiliates balance; no individually disclosed value. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of INOX Air Products Private Limited where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
