Hot Spring Spa Australasia PTY Ltd is the Australian company of the Hot Spring Spas Australasia group, which imports and distributes hot tubs, swim spas and saunas to a dealer network across Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia. The group began in 1980 when the engineer Dale Paretovich built spas in a garage in Hillcrest, Auckland, started importing components in 1981 and distributing into Australia the same year, and stopped local manufacturing in 2009 in favour of importing finished product from Watkins Manufacturing Corporation, the Californian spa maker that trades as Watkins Wellness and Hot Spring Spas. Its ranges are Hot Spring spa pools, Fastlane swim spas added in 2018 and Islander spa pools added in 2020. Watkins supplies the product from plants in California, Mexico and Pennsylvania and holds half the shares directly, and the group's head office and distribution centre is a warehouse in Albany, Auckland run by more than 35 staff.
Source
Hot Spring Spa Australasia PTY Ltd files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Masco Corporation Exhibit 21 subsidiary list, 10-K for FY2025 (SEC), About Us (Hot Spring Spas Australasia) and From revolution to evolution: the story of Hot Spring Spas Australasia. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Masco Corporation. Exhibit 21 to the FY2025 10-K (subsidiaries list as of Dec 31, 2025) footnote 9: 'Masco Corporation's effective ownership is 51% of which Watkins Manufacturing Corporation owns 50%.' Watkins Manufacturing Corporation is a wholly owned Masco subsidiary (spa/hot tub business, Caldera/Hot Spring/Watkins Wellness brands); the remaining 49% is held by an unnamed third party. Small, private, immaterial local distribution subsidiary; no share count or value disclosed. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Hot Spring Spa Australasia PTY Ltd where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
