HORSE Powertrain Limited is a London headquartered supplier of combustion engines, hybrid systems, transmissions and range extenders to carmakers, created on 31 May 2024 when Renault Group and Geely each folded their engine and gearbox operations into a single company: Renault's HORSE division and the Geely and Volvo Cars venture Aurobay. It employs around 19,000 people across three continents with five research and development centres, and it supplies powertrains to Renault, Dacia, Geely, Volvo, Lynk & Co, Proton, Nissan and Mitsubishi. The rationale is that carmakers are shifting engineering budgets to battery electric vehicles while combustion and hybrid drivetrains remain in demand, so a shared supplier can keep developing them at scale. Saudi Aramco joined in December 2024 as a strategic investor at an enterprise value of 7.4 billion euros, bringing chemicals and fuels expertise aimed at synthetic and lower carbon fuels.

The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.

What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of HORSE Powertrain Limited where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
