Gulfstream Natural Gas System operates an interstate natural gas pipeline that carries gas produced in the Gulf Coast region from southern Mobile County, Alabama, across the floor of the Gulf of Mexico and into peninsular Florida, where laterals reach power plants, local distribution companies and municipal utilities. The system runs about 745 miles in total, roughly 419 of them offshore and 294 onshore in Florida, and can move approximately 1.3 billion cubic feet of gas a day. It entered commercial service in 2002 as the first new natural gas pipeline built into Florida in more than forty years, was developed originally by Duke Energy and Williams, and is now held jointly by Williams and Enbridge. Capacity is contracted under long term firm transportation agreements with customers including Florida Power and Light and Duke Energy Florida, and the pipeline has been extended several times through numbered phase projects.
Source
Gulfstream Natural Gas System, L.L.C. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Gulfstream Natural Gas System (company website), Gulfstream Natural Gas System gas pipeline (Offshore Technology), Gulfstream Natural Gas Pipeline (Wikipedia) and Final Environmental Assessment for the Gulfstream Phase VI Project (PHMSA). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- The Williams Companies, Inc., as of 31 Dec 2025. Equity-method LLC interest, not denominated in shares, so shares is null. FY2025 10-K Note 8 (Investing Activities) equity-method investments table: 'Gulfstream 50% $185 $196' (2025 and 2024 carrying value in millions). The Q2 2026 10-Q reconfirms the 50 percent interest but does not restate an individual Q2 2026 carrying value for Gulfstream, so the FY2025 figure is used. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Gulfstream Natural Gas System, L.L.C. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
