Gulf LNG Holdings Group owns the Gulf LNG terminal on the Bayou Casotte channel at Pascagoula, Mississippi, a liquefied natural gas receiving, storage and regasification facility that came into service in 2011 at a cost of about 1.1 billion dollars. Ships unload LNG at a single dock permitted for vessels up to 170,000 cubic metres, the cargo is stored in tanks holding roughly 7 billion cubic feet equivalent, and the terminal can vaporise and send out about 1.5 billion cubic feet a day of natural gas through around five miles of its own pipeline into the interstate grid. Capacity is sold under long term terminal use agreements, one of which led to arbitration and litigation with Eni. The holding group also carries a proposed liquefaction project that would add roughly 11 million tonnes a year of export capacity at the same site: Kinder Morgan shelved it in 2022 and has since sought extensions of its federal construction deadline rather than starting work.
Source
Gulf LNG Holdings Group, LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Kinder Morgan, Inc. Form 10-K for FY2025 (SEC), Gulf LNG Terminal (Global Energy Monitor) and DOE approves exports for Kinder Morgan's Gulf LNG project (Houston Chronicle). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Kinder Morgan, Inc., as of 31 Dec 2025. Equity-method joint venture interest, not a share count. FY2025 10-K states 50% ownership and a $206 million carrying value at 31 Dec 2025 ($240 million at 31 Dec 2024). source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Gulf LNG Holdings Group, LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
