Who owns GI Partners joint venture(s)
One company in the researched set discloses a stake in GI Partners joint venture(s), none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. GI Partners joint venture(s) is private, so no 13F reports it: a 13F covers exchange listed positions only. These figures exist because each holder disclosed the stake in its own filings.

This is a data centre joint venture formed in July 2023 between Digital Realty and the private investment firm GI Partners, which invested through its open ended Essential Tech and Science Fund. The venture holds stabilised hyperscale data centre buildings on a campus in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in the Chicago metropolitan area: two facilities with roughly 67 megawatts of IT capacity, more than 90 percent leased to hyperscale, enterprise and carrier tenants, which Digital Realty had acquired in its 2017 merger with DuPont Fabros Technology. A third stabilised building on the same campus was contributed to the venture in 2024. GI Partners supplies the capital while Digital Realty continues to manage day to day operations, leasing and tenant relationships at the properties.
Source
GI Partners joint venture(s) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from GI Partners Announces the Acquisition of a Majority Interest in a Hyperscale Data Center Portfolio in the Midwest from Digital Realty Trust, Digital Realty Announces Joint Venture of Stabilized Hyperscale Data Centers in Chicago and Digital Realty sells majority stake in two Chicago data centers to GI Partners, Data Center Dynamics. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Digital Realty Trust, Inc., as of 30 Jun 2026. 10-Q Note 5 footnote (1): 'GI Partners (ranging from 20% to 25%)' within the combined Americas balance. The filing gives only a range, not a single ownership percentage, so pct_of_target is left null here rather than inventing a midpoint; the FY2025 10-K separately notes 2023 joint venture contributions involving GI Partners, Realty Income, and TPG Real Estate for gross proceeds of approximately $2,278.5 million. Combined-balance trap, value left null. sourcesource 2
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of GI Partners joint venture(s) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
