Genesis Molecular AI, formerly Genesis Therapeutics, is a drug discovery company in the San Francisco Bay Area with further offices in San Diego and New York, spun out of Stanford University in 2019 by Evan Feinberg from Vijay Pande's laboratory. It builds foundation models for molecular design under a platform it calls GEMS, the Genesis Exploration of Molecular Space, which combines machine learning with physics based simulation to generate and optimise small molecule drug candidates, and includes Pearl, a generative diffusion model for predicting protein and ligand structures. The company runs discovery collaborations with pharmaceutical partners including Incyte, Gilead Sciences, Eli Lilly and Genentech, in which partner experimental data is used to train its models against named disease targets. It has raised about 340 million dollars from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, NVIDIA's venture arm, Menlo Ventures, Rock Springs Capital, T. Rowe Price, Fidelity and Radical Ventures.

Genesis Molecular AI, Inc. files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Incyte and Genesis Expand Molecular AI Collaboration to Accelerate Drug Discovery, Small Molecules to Big Partnership: Incyte, Genesis Expand AI Collaboration to $1B+, GEN and Inside Incyte's $120 Million AI For Drug Development Deal, Forbes. The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Incyte Corporation, as of 30 Jun 2026. 10-Q Note 7: purchased approximately 4.3 million shares of Genesis Series B-3 Preferred Stock for $40.0 million at $9.332/share, part of a $120.0 million total deal ($80.0 million upfront plus the $40.0 million equity investment) under a May 2026 AI drug-discovery collaboration. No readily determinable fair value (private company); carried at cost less impairment under the ASC 321 measurement alternative, i.e. this $40.0 million is cost basis, not a mark-to-market fair value. Classified Level 3 in the fair value table. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Genesis Molecular AI, Inc. where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
