Faradyne Motors designs and manufactures submersible electric motors and control boxes for water well pumps, in single and three phase versions and in four inch, six inch and eight inch frame sizes, for residential, commercial, municipal and agricultural water systems. It was created in December 2005 as a fifty fifty joint venture between Pentair and ITT Industries, whose pump business later became Xylem, so that both partners could secure a captive supply of pump motors after a change at their previous motor supplier, and production started in 2006. The United States operation runs from Palmyra, New York, in the Newark area of upstate New York where the venture was originally sited, and a Chinese affiliate, Faradyne Motors (Suzhou) Co., Ltd, manufactures motors, rotors and stators in the export processing zone of Suzhou Industrial Park in Jiangsu province. The partners sell the motors under their own pump brands, Pentek at Pentair and CentriPro on the former ITT side.
Source
Faradyne Motors (Faradyne Motors LLC / FARADYNE Motors (Suzhou) Co., Ltd) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from WaterBriefs: Pentair Partners With ITT Industries to form FARADYNE Motors LLC (WaterWorld), Faradyne Motors official website, One Millionth Faradyne Motor Sold (The Driller) and Faradyne Motors (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. company profile (Dun & Bradstreet). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Pentair plc. Exhibit 21 to Pentair's FY2025 10-K lists two entities sharing footnote (2): 'FARADYNE Motors (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (2)' (China) and 'Faradyne Motors LLC (2)' (United States). The footnote key states '(2) 50% owned' for both, consistent with one 50/50 joint venture structured through parallel US and China legal entities rather than two separate stakes. Recorded here as one holding (50%, written as 50 not 0.5 per the project's pct_of_target convention) rather than double-counted as two rows. No dollar value or share count disclosed anywhere; 'Faradyne' does not appear in the 10-K or 10-Q main body outside Exhibit 21. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Faradyne Motors (Faradyne Motors LLC / FARADYNE Motors (Suzhou) Co., Ltd) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
