FanDuel Prediction Markets Holdings is the joint venture formed in December 2025 by FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment, and CME Group to run FanDuel Predicts, a prediction markets application for retail customers in the United States. FanDuel brings the consumer app, its registered user base and its customer verification process, while CME Group supplies the derivatives market infrastructure behind the contracts. Customers buy or sell event contracts priced between one cent and 99 cents on outcomes such as the level of the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, oil, gas, gold and cryptocurrency prices, GDP and CPI releases, and on baseball, basketball, football and hockey results in states without legal online sports betting. Its subsidiary FanDuel Prediction Markets LLC is a futures commission merchant registered with the CFTC and the National Futures Association. The app went live on 22 December 2025 in Alabama, Alaska, South Carolina, North Dakota and South Dakota and expanded to further states through 2026. In August 2026 the partners restructured the venture so that sports contracts execute on the Nadex exchange owned by Crypto.com, leaving CME to handle the non sports contracts.

FanDuel Prediction Markets Holdings LLC files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from CME Group Inc. Form 10-K for FY2025 (SEC), FanDuel and CME Group Launch FanDuel Predicts (Flutter Entertainment) and FanDuel and CME Revise Prediction Market Joint Venture to Route Sports Bets Through Nadex (SCCG Management). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- CME Group Inc., as of 31 Dec 2025. CME owns a 51% equity interest (a majority) in this LLC joint venture but the FY2025 10-K states CME accounts for it under the equity method, not consolidation, so it is treated as an equity-method holding here rather than a controlled subsidiary; the filing does not spell out the governance/control mechanics that keep it off consolidation. Interest is an LLC membership interest, not a share count, so shares stays null. FY2025 10-K: 'The company owns 51% of the equity interest in FanDuel Prediction Markets Holdings LLC (FanDuel Prediction Markets)... The carrying amount of the company's investment in FanDuel Prediction Markets was $25.3 million at December 31, 2025.' The joint venture was formed in December 2025 through capital contributions by FanDuel and CME Group (CME contributed $10.2 million cash) to launch a prediction-markets application for event contracts on financial, economic and sports benchmarks. The Q2 2026 10-Q does not update this figure. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of FanDuel Prediction Markets Holdings LLC where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
