Daehan Oil Pipeline Corporation, known as DOPCO, is the South Korean company that owns and runs the national refined products pipeline network, roughly 1,116 kilometres of line moving gasoline, kerosene, diesel and aviation fuel from refineries and import terminals to inland distribution points, together with storage terminals holding on the order of 10 million barrels. It carries about 58 percent of the refined product consumed in South Korea, and it also sells pipeline and terminal engineering and operating services and has moved into electric vehicle charging. The company was set up in 1990 to build a nationwide oil pipeline, completed that network in 1997, merged with Korea Pipeline Co., Ltd. in 1998, took over operation of the Trans Korea Pipeline in 1999, converted from a state corporation to a private company in 2001, and joined the SK group in 2006 before expanding its terminal footprint through acquisitions from SK Energy, GS Caltex and S-Oil between 2009 and 2019.
