BFL Group runs the Brands for Less chain, an off price retailer that buys surplus stock, clearance lines and production overruns from designer and mainstream labels and sells them through a treasure hunt store format at discounts reaching about 80 percent off original retail. Its range covers apparel, footwear, accessories, toys and homeware, and the group also holds franchise rights to the German brand Tchibo across the Middle East and North Africa. The business started in Lebanon in 1996, founded by Toufic Kreidieh and Yasser Beydoun, and moved its base to the United Arab Emirates in 2000; it now trades from more than 100 stores across markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Lebanon, alongside an e-commerce operation. It is the region's main operator of the off price model that TJX pioneered in the United States, and it was valued at about $1.2 billion in the 2024 transaction that brought TJX in as a shareholder.
Source
Brands for Less (BFL) files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from BFL Group corporate website, UAE's Brands For Less to sell 35% stake to US-based TJX Companies (The National) and M&A advisors advise off-price retailer Brands For Less on deal with TJX (Consultancy-me.com). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Brands for Less (BFL) where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
