Private company
Who owns Ascenty
One company in the researched set discloses a stake in Ascenty, none of it sized by anyone who discloses it. Ascenty is private, so no 13F reports it: a 13F covers exchange listed positions only. These figures exist because each holder disclosed the stake in its own filings.

Ascenty builds and runs wholesale and colocation data centres in Latin America, and is the largest data centre operator in the region, with 34 sites in operation or under construction across Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia. It was founded in Brazil in 2010 and grew around clusters in Sao Paulo, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro and Fortaleza, connected by a proprietary fibre optic network of several thousand kilometres that links its campuses to each other and to the main Brazilian metropolitan areas, so tenants get cross site connectivity as well as space and power. Its customers are mainly global hyperscale cloud providers taking large contracted blocks of capacity, alongside enterprise colocation clients. Since December 2018 the company has been held through a joint venture of Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure.
Source
Ascenty files nothing with the SEC, so none of this comes from a filer record. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Digital Realty To Acquire Ascenty (PR Newswire, 2018), Ascenty company profile (DC Byte) and Ascenty Opens Four New Data Centers in Brazil (PR Newswire). The ownership figures below come from the holders' filings instead, and are sourced row by row.
The disclosed stakes
One row per position. Where a holder reports the same company in two share classes, both rows are shown rather than summed, because the class is part of a position's identity.
Where each figure comes from
A private stake has no ownership form behind it, so the source is always the holder's own filing or disclosure. Anything modelled says so, with the arithmetic.
- Digital Realty Trust, Inc., as of 30 Jun 2026. 10-Q Note 5 footnote (1) to the Americas region balance: 'Ascenty (49%)'. The Americas balance ($2,170,425 thousand at 30 Jun 2026) is a COMBINED figure covering 11 named unconsolidated entities (Ascenty, Blackstone, Clise, GI Partners, Mapletree, Menlo, Mitsubishi, Realty Income, TPG Real Estate, the Digital Realty DC Partners NA Fund, and Walsh); none is individually sized in the filing, so value is null per the brief's combined-balance rule. Ascenty is separately called out in MD&A as a source of FX remeasurement volatility on unconsolidated debt, indicating it is a Brazil-based, debt-carrying entity, but no standalone carrying value is disclosed. source
What this page is not
It is not a complete register. It lists the holders who happen to be inside the researched set and disclosed the stake themselves. A private company can have many other shareholders, and nothing here rules them out: venture investors, founders and employees usually appear in no public filing at all. Percentages are of Ascenty where a holder stated one, and are missing where no holder did.
