Address, industry classification, listing and incorporation come from Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated's own SEC filer record, so the industry is the SEC's dry classification rather than a marketing label. The website comes from Wikidata. The headcount is the figure the Wikipedia article states for 2017, not a figure this site has verified against a filing. The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 1,263 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
1,263 managers reported a position, together holding 372.3m shares, or 74.7% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 498.3m shares outstanding at 21 Apr 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- PEG's operating subsidiaries (PSE&G, PSEG Power/Nuclear, PSEG Long Island) are wholly owned and are excluded from holdings per the brief.
- Searched the Q2 2026 10-Q (period 2026-06-30) and FY2025 10-K for 'equity method', 'joint venture', 'unconsolidated', 'nuclear decommissioning trust', 'Yards Creek', 'Peach Bottom', 'Salem', 'Hope Creek', 'co-owner', 'undivided interest'. Salem and Peach Bottom nuclear units are co-owned with Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (PSEG Power operates Salem, Constellation operates Peach Bottom) but the filings describe these explicitly as 'undivided interests in certain jointly-owned facilities', i.e. tenant-in-common plant interests, not equity stakes in a separate entity. Per the brief these are excluded from holdings.
- The 10-Q and 10-K disclose a segment-level balance-sheet line 'Investments in Equity Method Subsidiaries' within the PSEG Power & Other segment: $30 million at 30 Jun 2026, $26 million at 31 Dec 2025, $21 million at 31 Dec 2024, $17 million at 31 Dec 2023. No entity names or ownership percentages are disclosed anywhere in either filing for this line; it is a combined total covering an unstated number of unnamed equity-method investees. Per the brief's rule against assigning a combined balance to one investee, and because no investee is even named, holdings is left empty rather than guessing. This combined figure is not represented in holdings.
- The Nuclear Decommissioning Trust (NDT) Fund ($2,915 million at 31 Dec 2025 per the 10-K) is a trust of securities held to fund future decommissioning costs, not an equity stake in an operating company; excluded per the brief's explicit instruction.
- Register self-gate: 13 rows, 211,349,939 shares (raw sum, no rolls_up_into members present to net out), 42.40% of shares outstanding (498,420,030). Within the brief's expected 25% to 45% band. (Updated after adding Geode Capital Management, Bank of America Corporation and Invesco Ltd., each sourced from their own Q2 2026, period 2026-06-30, 13F-HR information table.)
- The 2026 DEF 14A (as of 20 Feb 2026, reflecting year-end 2025 Schedule 13G filings) reported different, earlier figures for the same three largest holders: BlackRock 46,597,183 shares (9.30%), State Street Corporation 30,417,859 shares (6.09%), Vanguard Group 67,498,797 shares (13.52%). This register instead uses the more recent Q2 2026 13F-HR filings (as_of 2026-06-30) per the brief's preference; the proxy's 13G-derived figures are recorded here for disagreement disclosure only, not used in the register.
- market_cap_usd is computed as shares_outstanding (498,420,030, from the Q2 2026 10-Q cover page) multiplied by a share price of $75.87 as of 12 Aug 2026, sourced via web search from stockinvest.us (an aggregator, not a filing); treat market_cap_usd and share_price_usd as confidence: reported, not filed.
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- No entity names or split are disclosed for the $30 million (Q2 2026) / $26 million (FY2025) 'Investments in Equity Method Subsidiaries' line in the PSEG Power & Other segment; searched the full text of both the Q2 2026 10-Q and FY2025 10-K for 'equity method', 'joint venture', 'unconsolidated', and found only the aggregate balance-sheet figure with no supporting note or entity list.
- Fidelity-family ownership may be understated: only FMR LLC's own CIK (0000315066) was checked; other Fidelity-affiliated 13F filers (e.g. FIAM LLC, Strategic Advisers LLC) were not searched.
- Individual director/officer share counts beyond the four named in the search excerpt (Deese, Hanemann, Park, McFeaters) and the 19-person group total were not individually extracted from the DEF 14A; only the group aggregate is included in the register.
- No 13D or additional 13G strategic/sovereign filings were found or searched beyond the proxy's citation of BlackRock, State Street and Vanguard 13Gs; no evidence of a sovereign wealth fund or single strategic holder above the institutional managers listed.
