Address, industry classification, listing and incorporation come from Legend Biotech Corp's own SEC filer record, so the industry is the SEC's dry classification rather than a marketing label. The headcount is the figure the sources below state for 2025. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Legend Biotech Corporation Form 20-F for fiscal year 2025 and Legend Biotech Corporation Form 6-K interim report for the six months ended 30 June 2026, not taken from any single article.

Description
Legend Biotech Corporation is a global biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing cell therapies for oncology. A Cayman Islands exempted company, it has principal executive offices in Somerset, New Jersey, with American Depositary Shares listed on Nasdaq under LEGN since June 2020. Its first and only approved product is CARVYKTI (ciltacabtagene autoleucel), a BCMA-directed autologous CAR-T therapy the FDA approved in February 2022 for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma and expanded in April 2024 to lenalidomide-refractory patients with at least one prior line. Legend develops and sells it with Janssen Biotech, a Johnson & Johnson company: the partners share costs and profits or losses equally outside Greater China, while Legend bears 70% of those costs and 70% of pre-tax profits or losses within it. Janssen paid $350.0 million upfront in 2018 and $415.0 million of milestones through 31 December 2025. CARVYKTI net trade sales were about $1.9 billion in 2025 and about $657 million in the second quarter of 2026, across 348 sites and 19 markets. Total revenue was $1,028.9 million in 2025 against a $296.8 million net loss, and $692.6 million in the first half of 2026 against a $21.1 million net loss. Cash and cash equivalents were $672.9 million plus $291.7 million of time deposits at 30 June 2026. Legend had 2,965 employees at 31 December 2025.
Who owns Legend Biotech Corp.
Nothing recorded on this side. That is a sourced finding rather than a gap where the research notes say so: see the notes below.
Select a row or a slice for its provenance: the filing it came from, when it was measured, and the arithmetic behind it if it was modelled.
The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 189 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
189 managers reported a position, together holding 96.1m shares. The 40 largest are listed.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Added 27 Aug 2026 by scripts/promote_discovered.py. This company reached the site because a covered investor holds it, not because an index listed it: it was a position in a portfolio here with no page of its own. The match was proved by requiring the register built for this CIK to contain the same CUSIP the portfolio held.
- Discovered at CUSIP 52490G102, held by ameriprise, bank-of-america, blackrock, bny-mellon, capital-group, citigroup, fidelity-fmr, fifth-third, geode, goldman-sachs, huntington-bancshares, invesco, johnson-johnson, jpmorgan, morgan-stanley, northern-trust, pnc, raymond-james, state-street, us-bancorp, vanguard, wells-fargo.
- Holdings are NOT researched. The empty holdings list means nobody has looked at what this company owns, not that it owns nothing, and the page says so.
- Shares outstanding and market cap are null rather than guessed. Neither was captured on the dated sweep that carries every other company here.
