Address, industry classification, listing and incorporation come from Jabil Inc.'s own SEC filer record, so the industry is the SEC's dry classification rather than a marketing label. The website comes from Wikidata. The headcount is the figure the Wikipedia article states for 2024, not a figure this site has verified against a filing. Description
Jabil Inc. is an American multinational manufacturing company involved in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of electronic circuit board assemblies and systems, along with supply chain services, primarily serving original equipment manufacturers. It is headquartered in the Gateway area of St. Petersburg, Florida. It is one of the largest companies in the Tampa Bay area.
Equity stakes Jabil Inc. holds in other companies.
No position on this side carries a sourced value, so there is nothing to chart. The table still lists 1 of them.
Select a row or a slice for its provenance: the filing it came from, when it was measured, and the arithmetic behind it if it was modelled.
The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 958 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
958 managers reported a position, together holding 98.8m shares, or 93.7% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 105.5m shares outstanding at 1 Apr 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Newest filing used: the 10-Q for the quarter ended 31 May 2026 (filed 30 Jun 2026, accession 0001628280-26-046138). Jabil's fiscal year ends 31 August, so the FY2026 10-K is not due until around October 2026 and had not been filed as of this research (19 Aug 2026); the most recent 10-K on file (period ended 31 Aug 2025, filed 17 Oct 2025) is older than this 10-Q, so no fiscal-year-end trap applies here: the 10-Q genuinely is the freshest filing.
- shares_outstanding is 104,824,302 as of 31 May 2026, taken from the condensed consolidated balance sheet in the Q3 FY2026 10-Q (500,000,000 authorized; 279,407,095 issued; 104,824,302 outstanding after treasury). Jabil has bought back a very large share of its stock: outstanding shares fell from 107,480,895 at 31 Aug 2025 to 104,824,302 at 31 May 2026, a roughly 2.5% reduction in nine months, funded partly through repeated accelerated share repurchase (ASR) agreements described in the same 10-Q. stockanalysis.com's snapshot for the close of 18 Aug 2026 shows 104.79 million shares outstanding, close to but not identical to the SEC-filed figure; the SEC figure with its precise date is used throughout this file. Reconciliation against the alternative convention, recorded rather than silently chosen: the same 10-Q's COVER PAGE (dei:EntityCommonStockSharesOutstanding, verified via https://data.sec.gov/api/xbrl/companyconcept/CIK0000898293/dei/EntityCommonStockSharesOutstanding.json) reports 104,787,089 shares as of 24 Jun 2026, which is 37,213 shares (0.036%) lower and dated closer to the 30 Jun 2026 13F measurement date. The balance-sheet figure is used here for every pct_of_company in this file. Substituting the cover figure would move the charted register from 58.06% to 58.08% and each row by under 0.01 percentage points, below the precision reported, so the two are interchangeable for any conclusion drawn from this file. Stated explicitly because Jabil's ongoing accelerated repurchases mean the two counts keep diverging.
- market_cap_usd ($35,495,605,143) is computed as the 18 Aug 2026 closing price ($338.62, from stockanalysis.com, a market-close basis point after an 8.45% single-day decline) multiplied by the SEC-filed shares_outstanding (104,824,302). stockanalysis.com's own rounded market cap for the same day is $35.48bn, consistent with this figure.
- Holdings side: Jabil has essentially no cross-holdings. The only non-wholly-owned entity found anywhere in Jabil's filings is ID8 Global LLC, a Delaware LLC that Exhibit 21.1 to the FY2025 10-K says Jabil owns 50% of indirectly; no value is disclosed for it anywhere. Searches of the Q3 FY2026 10-Q and the FY2025 10-K for 'equity method', 'equity investment', 'unconsolidated', 'joint venture', 'variable interest entity' / VIE, 'non-marketable', 'minority interest', 'cost method', 'strategic investment', 'unrealized gain' and 'investments in unconsolidated' returned no hits describing any owned equity stake (the one VIE hit in the FY2025 10-K is an operating lease where Jabil is the lessee, not an equity holder, and is not a holding). Jabil's Mobility Business (Chengdu/Wuxi manufacturing) was fully divested to an affiliate of BYD Electronic (International) Co. Ltd. ('BYDE'), closing during FY2025 for a $54 million pre-tax gain; the 10-K describes only an indemnification obligation to BYDE for pre-closing liabilities, with no retained equity interest, so this is a completed divestiture and not a holdings row.
- Register: 16 rows, summing (per the chart's own arithmetic: the insider aggregate row reduced by its one named member, everything else at full value) to 60,863,407 shares against shares_outstanding of 104,824,302, i.e. 58.06%. This is above the roughly 25-45% range this project usually sees and above the 55% sanity ceiling in the research brief, so it was checked rather than shipped: MarketBeat's institutional-ownership page for JBL (fetched during this research) reports total institutional ownership of 93.39%, and Jabil's float is unusually small for its market cap (104.8 million shares, versus a $35.5bn market cap) because of the buybacks noted above. A top-16 concentration in the high 50s is consistent with a 93% institutionally owned, buyback-shrunk float rather than a double-count; no duplicate CIK or mixed-basis row was found across the 16 positions (all are either same-date, same-instrument 30 Jun 2026 13F common-stock rows, or the 28 Nov 2025 proxy insider table). Corroborated first-hand by the coordinator against a source independent of any aggregator: this project's own 13F-derived register (data/registers/JBL.json, period 31 Mar 2026, built by a separate pipeline from the bulk 13F data) reports total institutional ownership of 75,186,197 shares, 71.73% of the same denominator, with its top twelve holders alone summing to 54,485,424 shares, 51.98%. The fourteen institutional rows in this file sum to 59,424,575 shares, 56.69%, which sits correctly between those two figures. Every row here also implies the same $385.48 per share on 30 Jun 2026, ruling out a values-in-thousands or units error on any row. Texas Yale Capital Corp., flagged in the unknowns below as unidentified, is independently present in that same 31 Mar 2026 snapshot at 6,286,723 shares against the 6,285,933 recorded here, so it is a real holder rather than a parsing artifact. The MarketBeat figure cited above is an aggregator and is not relied on: it disagrees with the 71.73% measured here, which is the expected direction since aggregators double-count shared voting and dispositive power.
- Texas Yale Capital Corp. (CIK 0001332342, formerly 'Yale Capital Corp' until 2010) is Jabil's third-largest disclosed holder at 6,285,933 shares (6.00%, $2.42bn), and Jabil is its single largest position out of roughly 500 13F holdings per its own 13F-HR. Its registered address, 6475 1st Ave South, St. Petersburg, FL, is Jabil's own headquarters city. No Jabil filing names Texas Yale Capital Corp or explains this coincidence, so no insider or family relationship is asserted here; it is filed as a plain 13F position but labelled holder_type 'strategic' rather than 'active' given the concentration and geographic coincidence, and flagged for a reader to treat with more scrutiny than an ordinary asset manager.
- T. Rowe Price Investment Management, Inc. (CIK 0001897612, the separate registrant from T. Rowe Price Associates) was checked directly against its own 30 Jun 2026 13F-HR information table: CUSIP 466313103 (Jabil) does not appear anywhere in that filing. It holds no Jabil position and is not given a row (a null row would misleadingly render as 'current holder, size unknown').
- Capital Group was checked across three registrants that between them cover most of Jabil-sized positions in this project (Capital World Investors CIK 0001422849, Capital Research Global Investors CIK 0001422848, Capital International Investors CIK 0001562230), each against its own 30 Jun 2026 13F-HR information table. CUSIP 466313103 does not appear in any of the three. None holds Jabil, and none is given a row. A further three Capital Group registrants noted elsewhere in this project's documentation (relevant on some other companies, e.g. TransDigm) were not individually checked here given the zero result on the three largest; if any of them holds Jabil it would be small.
- The FY2026 proxy statement (DEF 14A filed 12 Dec 2025, record date 28 Nov 2025) sources its Vanguard and BlackRock lines from stale Schedule 13G/A filings (Vanguard 15,070,042 shares / 14.11%, dated as of 29 Dec 2023; BlackRock 10,275,465 shares / 9.62%, dated as of 31 Dec 2023), against a then-current share count of 106,822,960. Both are materially stale next to the fresh 30 Jun 2026 13F figures used in this register (Vanguard 13,284,576 shares family-wide; BlackRock 10,132,052 shares), so the fresh 13F figures are the ones recorded; the proxy figures are not used.
- Jabil has no founder or dual-class control structure. The proxy's beneficial ownership table shows all directors and executive officers as a group (20 persons) holding only 1,438,832 shares (1.37% of the fresh share count), with Mark Mondello, Jabil's Executive Chairman and former long-serving CEO, the largest individual insider at 1,109,400 shares (1.06%); no other officer or director holds more than 0.09%. The register is effectively an all-institutional one.
- Every 30 Jun 2026 13F dollar figure implies roughly the same price per Jabil share, about $385.5 (e.g. BlackRock's $3,905,703,660 over 10,132,052 shares = $385.53), which is the internal cross-check that confirmed the T. Rowe Price values-in-thousands correction above and gives confidence none of the other filers' dollar figures are mis-scaled.
- UBS Group AG's information table also carried two derivative (option) lines on Jabil, 1,157,900 and 1,260,000 notional shares; these are excluded from both the share count and the value used here, consistent with filing.py's own derivative exclusion, since a 13F option position is not equivalent to owning the underlying common shares.
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- ID8 Global LLC's line of business, its carrying value on Jabil's books, its income contribution (if any), and the identity of the other 50% owner: none are disclosed anywhere in Jabil's SEC filings or in EDGAR full text search.
- Whether Jabil holds any other unconsolidated equity interests: Exhibit 21.1 lists ownership at 100% for every subsidiary except ID8 Global LLC, so if Jabil holds smaller stakes below the 'significant subsidiary' threshold that triggers Exhibit 21 disclosure, they are not named anywhere in the filings reviewed.
- Whether the Vanguard family sweep (7 entities, matching the register snapshot at data/registers/JBL.json) is fully exhaustive; this project's own documentation notes Vanguard sometimes reports through 7 or 8 entities, and an 8th was not separately searched for here.
- Three further Capital Group registrants beyond the three checked (Capital World Investors, Capital Research Global Investors, Capital International Investors, all zero on Jabil) were not individually checked; if any holds Jabil it is likely small given the zero result on the three largest.
- The identity of the beneficial owner(s) behind Texas Yale Capital Corp. and whether it has any relationship to Jabil insiders or the company itself; only the geographic coincidence (same city as Jabil's headquarters) was found, not a documented relationship.
