Description
Fiserv, Inc. is an American multinational financial technology company headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Equity stakes Fiserv, Inc. holds in other companies.
No position on this side carries a sourced value, so there is nothing to chart. The table still lists 2 of them.

The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 1,234 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
1,234 managers reported a position, together holding 464.8m shares, or 87.2% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 533.3m shares outstanding at 1 May 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Ticker check, no discrepancy found. Fiserv's common stock trades on Nasdaq under FISV today: confirmed on the cover page of the Q2 2026 10-Q filed 7 Aug 2026 ('Common Stock, par value $0.01 per share FISV The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC'), on the SEC's own company-facts ticker list (data.sec.gov/submissions/CIK0000798354.json lists tickers: ['FISV']), and independently on stockanalysis.com as of 18 Aug 2026. The same 10-Q cover page also lists several of Fiserv's senior notes under related Nasdaq bond tickers (FISV27, FISV28C, FISV30, FISV30A and others); those are debt tickers, not equity, and do not affect company.ticker. company.ticker is written as FISV per the brief's requirement, and this matches the company's actual current trading symbol, so no data-model discrepancy exists here (unlike the scenario the brief flagged as possible).
- Holdings side. Fiserv's FY2025 10-K and Q2 2026 10-Q were both searched in full for 'equity method', 'unconsolidated', 'merchant alliance', 'joint venture', 'noncontrolling interest' and 'investments in unconsolidated affiliates'. Three combined equity-method buckets exist inside the single 'investments in unconsolidated affiliates' balance sheet line (1,031 million dollars at 30 Jun 2026; 1,046 million dollars at 31 Dec 2025): (1) 'merchant alliances' generally, 720 million dollars at 30 Jun 2026 (736 million dollars at 31 Dec 2025), covering an unstated number of unnamed bank merchant-acquiring alliances; the only merchant alliance ever named in either filing is the Wells Fargo Merchant Services alliance (WFMS, 40% Fiserv ownership), which expired 1 Apr 2025 and was fully cash-settled by Q3 2025, so it is no longer part of this balance and is not entered as a holding. (2) the 'Lending Joint Ventures', Sagent M&C, LLC and defi SOLUTIONS Group, LLC, combined net investment 90 million dollars at 30 Jun 2026 (88 million dollars at 31 Dec 2025), with no individual split disclosed; both are entered in holdings with null size fields per the combined-balance rule. (3) 'other strategic investments', 215 million dollars at 30 Jun 2026 (208 million dollars at 31 Dec 2025), entirely unnamed. None of these three buckets discloses an ownership percentage for any individual investee. Per the brief, the unnamed merchant-alliance bucket and the unnamed 'other strategic investments' bucket are not converted into holdings rows (no investee name to attach them to); only Sagent M&C, LLC and defi SOLUTIONS Group, LLC, which ARE individually named, appear as holdings rows, both null-sized.
- Consolidated-vs-wholly-owned line. Fiserv bought out the remaining minority interests in three former majority-owned consolidated subsidiaries during 2023 and 2025: European Merchant Services B.V. (remaining 49% acquired in 2023), ICICI Merchant Services Private Limited (remaining 19% acquired 17 Apr 2025 for $22 million) and AIB Merchant Services / AIBMS (remaining 49.9% acquired 5 Sep 2025 for $420 million). All three are now wholly owned and correctly excluded from holdings; before these buyouts they sat on the consolidated (not equity-method) side of the line, which is a different treatment from the Sagent/defi SOLUTIONS Lending Joint Ventures and the unnamed merchant alliances, which remain minority equity-method stakes.
- Fiserv has a single class of common stock ($0.01 par value, one vote per share) and no dual-class or founder-control structure. No stock split or share reclassification was found in the FY2025 10-K (searched for 'stock split' and 'reclassif'); the only 'reclassification' hits were routine accumulated-other-comprehensive-income and noncontrolling-interest reclassification entries, unrelated to the share count.
- Register: 19 rows (15 institutional 13F rows, 1 current-CEO row rolled into the officer/director group, 1 officer/director aggregate group, and 2 standalone former-officer insider rows for Robert W. Hau and Guy Chiarello, who hold material FISV stakes but are not part of the current 15-person group per the proxy's own share-count arithmetic). Self-gate per the chart's own formula (aggregate reduced to its residual of 324,298 minus Lyons's 18,388 = 305,910; every other row at full value): shares total 243,949,813 against 531,766,721 shares outstanding, or 45.88%. This is slightly above the brief's typical 25-45% band but well inside the 15-55% tolerance; it is driven by three unusually large holders relative to Fiserv's size (Vanguard family 10.14%, Dodge & Cox 9.44%, BlackRock 7.97%), which together account for over half the register total, plus using fresher Q2 2026 13F data rather than the proxy's stale 13G-based figures for Vanguard/Dodge & Cox/BlackRock (which would have summed lower, around 28.7% for those three alone: 11.9% + 9.3% + 7.5%).
- The 2026 proxy's own 5%-plus holder table (stale, based on Schedule 13D/13G filings as of the dates in those filings) names only three holders: The Vanguard Group Inc, 63,408,549 shares (11.9%); Dodge & Cox, 49,474,622 shares (9.3%); BlackRock Inc, 39,890,598 shares (7.5%). The register above instead uses each manager's Q2 2026 Form 13F-HR (30 Jun 2026 position date), which is more current; all three figures differ modestly from the stale proxy numbers and are reconciled rather than overwritten (both figures given here in this note).
Looked for, not found
Recorded rather than filled in. Each of these is a place where a number could have been invented and was not.
- The individual carrying value and ownership percentage of Sagent M&C, LLC and of defi SOLUTIONS Group, LLC within the combined 90 million dollar (30 Jun 2026) Lending Joint Ventures balance; neither the FY2025 10-K nor the Q2 2026 10-Q splits the two out or states an ownership percentage for either.
- The identities, individual carrying values and ownership percentages of the merchant alliances making up the combined 720 million dollar (30 Jun 2026) 'merchant alliances' balance, now that WFMS (the only ever named alliance) has wound down. Fiserv's public alliance-program description (10-K business section) explains the alliance structure generally but names no current counterparty bank.
- The identities and sizing of the entities inside the combined 215 million dollar (30 Jun 2026) 'other strategic investments' equity-method bucket; not named in either filing searched.
- Vanguard-affiliated 13F filers other than Vanguard Capital Management LLC and Vanguard Portfolio Management LLC (for example Vanguard Advisers Inc, Vanguard Fiduciary Trust Co) were not individually checked for FISV holdings within the time budget; if they hold FISV shares, the true Vanguard family total is somewhat higher than the 53,934,753 shares used here.
- Precise dollar values for the officer/director insider rows (Lyons, Hau, Chiarello, and the 15-person group) are null: the proxy's beneficial ownership table gives only share counts and a 'less than 1%' label, and no FISV share price as of the 27 Feb 2026 record date was independently sourced within scope, so a value was not estimated rather than guessed.
- Whether any additional 13F filers not checked here (beyond the fourteen institutional managers plus Dodge & Cox) hold a strategic-sized FISV position; only the managers on the project's standard check list plus Dodge & Cox (surfaced by the proxy's own 5%-holder table) were verified.
