Description
Contineum Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in San Diego, California that develops small molecule drug candidates. Its July 2026 quarterly report describes the focus as inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, restated from the neuroscience, inflammation and immunology framing of its 2025 annual report. The wholly owned lead asset, PIPE-791, is a brain penetrant inhibitor of the lysophosphatidic acid receptor 1 in development for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and chronic pain. Patient dosing began in the first quarter of 2026 in PROPEL-IPF, a 26-week Phase 2 trial of approximately 324 IPF patients, and a Phase 1b study in chronic pain reported positive top-line safety data in April 2026. The second candidate, PIPE-307, a selective muscarinic type 1 receptor inhibitor, was licensed worldwide in February 2023 to Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, a Johnson & Johnson company, for $50.0 million upfront, roughly $1.0 billion in potential milestones. A Contineum-run Phase 2 trial of PIPE-307 in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis missed its primary and secondary endpoints in November 2025. Contineum recognized no revenue in 2025 or in the first half of 2026, reporting net losses of $60.0 million and $29.6 million. Cash and marketable securities were $236.6 million at 30 June 2026. It had 51 employees at 31 December 2025.
Who owns Contineum Therapeutics, Inc..
Nothing recorded on this side. That is a sourced finding rather than a gap where the research notes say so: see the notes below.
Select a row or a slice for its provenance: the filing it came from, when it was measured, and the arithmetic behind it if it was modelled.
The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 88 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
88 managers reported a position, together holding 30.6m shares. The 40 largest are listed.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Added 27 Aug 2026 by scripts/promote_discovered.py. This company reached the site because a covered investor holds it, not because an index listed it: it was a position in a portfolio here with no page of its own. The match was proved by requiring the register built for this CIK to contain the same CUSIP the portfolio held.
- Discovered at CUSIP 21217B100, held by ameriprise, bank-of-america, blackrock, bny-mellon, citigroup, fidelity-fmr, franklin-resources, geode, goldman-sachs, invesco, johnson-johnson, jpmorgan, metlife, morgan-stanley, northern-trust, state-street, us-bancorp, vanguard, wells-fargo.
- Holdings are NOT researched. The empty holdings list means nobody has looked at what this company owns, not that it owns nothing, and the page says so.
- Shares outstanding and market cap are null rather than guessed. Neither was captured on the dated sweep that carries every other company here.
