Address, industry classification, listing and incorporation come from Arcus Biosciences, Inc.'s own SEC filer record, so the industry is the SEC's dry classification rather than a marketing label. The website comes from Wikidata. The headcount is the figure the sources below state for 2025. The description was written for this site in August 2026 from Arcus Biosciences, Inc. Form 10-K for fiscal year 2025 and Arcus Biosciences, Inc. Form 10-Q for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, not taken from any single article.

Description
Arcus Biosciences, Inc. is a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company in Hayward, California that develops small molecules and antibodies for cancer and for inflammatory and autoimmune disease. Its lead asset is casdatifan, an oral HIF-2 alpha inhibitor in the Phase 3 PEAK-1 trial with cabozantinib in previously treated clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Quemliclustat, a CD73 inhibitor, is in the Phase 3 PRISM-1 pancreatic cancer study. Three Phase 3 studies of the anti-TIGIT antibody domvanalimab (STAR-221, STAR-121 and PACIFIC-8) were discontinued between December 2025 and August 2026. Gilead Sciences is both the largest holder of the stock, at roughly 24.7% of shares outstanding on 30 June 2026, and the main partner: a 2020 collaboration gives Gilead licenses to domvanalimab, zimberelimab and quemliclustat plus three board seats, though its options over the remaining pipeline lapsed on 14 July 2026 when it declined the continuation payment. Arcus has no approved product and all revenue is collaboration and license income: $247 million in 2025 against a $353 million net loss, then $58 million in the first half of 2026 against a $219 million loss. Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities were $775 million at 30 June 2026, which the company expects to fund operations into at least the second half of 2028. Arcus had 601 full-time employees at 31 December 2025.
Who owns Arcus Biosciences, Inc..
Nothing recorded on this side. That is a sourced finding rather than a gap where the research notes say so: see the notes below.
Select a row or a slice for its provenance: the filing it came from, when it was measured, and the arithmetic behind it if it was modelled.
The full register, from 13F filings
The Register tab above is hand research: a dozen holders, each traced to the filing it came from. This asks the same question of the whole market for the quarter ended 31-mar-2026, where 204 managers reported a position. Broad where the research is deep, and shallow in the ways a 13F always is.
204 managers reported a position, together holding 119.1m shares, or 94.7% of the company. The 40 largest are listed. Percentages are of the 125.8m shares outstanding at 30 Apr 2026, the count in force when this quarter was measured rather than the count today.
Built from 13F filings, which report US listed, long, US custodied positions only. A register from this source is a floor rather than a level: a holder's true position can be far larger, as BlackRock's ASML stake shows at 1.28m shares in a 13F against 26.3m in its 13G/A. Holdings held through derivatives, outside US custody, or below a manager's reporting obligation do not appear. Where a holder is marked as a family, its total sums several separate filing entities and describes something no single filing describes; the constituent entities and their share counts are listed so the total can be checked. That roll-up can legitimately exceed the family's own Schedule 13G, because a 13G is filed by one legal entity: Vanguard reports Alphabet through ten advisory entities, and The Vanguard Group Inc itself reported zero after its January 2026 disaggregation.
What a reader needs to know to read these numbers
- Added 26 Aug 2026 by scripts/promote_discovered.py. This company reached the site because a covered investor holds it, not because an index listed it: it was a position in a portfolio here with no page of its own. The match was proved by requiring the register built for this CIK to contain the same CUSIP the portfolio held.
- Discovered at CUSIP 03969F109, held by ameriprise, bank-of-america, blackrock, blackstone, bny-mellon, citigroup, fidelity-fmr, fifth-third, geode, gilead, goldman-sachs, invesco, jpmorgan, metlife, morgan-stanley, northern-trust, pnc, prudential-financial, raymond-james, state-street, us-bancorp, vanguard, wells-fargo.
- Holdings are NOT researched. The empty holdings list means nobody has looked at what this company owns, not that it owns nothing, and the page says so.
- Shares outstanding and market cap are null rather than guessed. Neither was captured on the dated sweep that carries every other company here.
